It's good that there are alternatives as 35mm canisters are NOT waterproof.
Not all 35mm canisters are created equal.

Erm, I don't understand this, what's the problem with posting company names?! How could this effect anything the Police are doing?

I think the PayPal Christmas site is real. Its linked from the paypal.co.uk website. However firefox seems to think it isn't real. I suspect someone has incorrectly reported it as being a fake.

2E0HKY from Holmfirth, West Yorkshire reporting in. Not very active at the moment, but usually operate on 2m/70cms. Can also access 6m and 10m FM. My local repeater would be GB3HD (70cms) but can access a number more from my home QTH. Would like to go for the Advanced licence soon as it fits in very nicely with my uni studies (Electronic Engineering) so there isn't much more to learn for it.

Today is the deadline for results for last month. Results will be published tomorrow morning.

The speedometer in our van packed up so we use it as a speedo.
Erm.... thats not entirely legal.

Ahh yes, it should. That'll teach me for being lazy and copying and pasting from last month. Well spotted.

Few days until the deadline...

Sounds like a great event. Hope it all goes well. Shame I'm 170 miles south of Edinburgh without my own transport.

(iii) George Hodgson gets some DNFs though I found it easily :-P
Edit: Just remembered I DNF'd Clocks that never need winding-up :-(
Two nice virtuals that i've found, but I can understand why they might sometimes be difficult.

Some great photos. One of my favorites is this one, taken whilst kayaking on Ullswater in the Lake District. Just about to cross over to the other side of the lake to find The Daffodils - The Wordsworth Way .

...and a spellchecker?

Good news. Does this mean the irritating disclaimers that people put on their cache pages as a reaction to this will be removed? I hope so.

The September results are now online! Go to http://www.aebrookes.co.uk/cotm/index.php to see them. Well done to everyone who has taken part.

Send me a message with a current email address to send the invite to and you can have one of my hundreds of invites.

EBuyer did have a US operation but not anymore.

Few days remaining...

Its not really a problem as such. The cache locations as viewed through Google Earth using the Geocaching.com KML file are not exact. This is intended to make GE a tool for finding whereabouts a cache is, not its exact location. Bit of a nonsense though since you can just copy the exact coords from the cache page.

Cacher of the Month - points for adopting - Yes or No?

Apologies for not replying sooner, I've been quite busy this week.
This has come up before as Hazel mentioned and the opinion was that caches adopted shouldn't count. I'll update the rules page to make this clear.
