  1. Thanks Hancock Clan. That confirmed my thinking. Looks like quite a few people are trying to find it at the moment, there is quite a queue. I've got the next stage, just don't understand the instructions. Any idea what the rest of the instructions mean? Thanks, adambro
  2. I'm also thinking it means A=1, B=2 etc. I might have found the logo its meaning but more by luck than anything.
  3. Hi, I'm currently trying to do the SpyCam cache in Germany (GCB750). I've found the webcam no problem but I'm having trouble understanding the instructions. Has anyone done this cache that would be able to provide me with a better translation of the instructions. I'm not wanting any information beyond what is provided on the cache page, just wanting someone to explain it a bit better. Thanks, adambro
  4. Ok not always THAT bus. When I'm popping over to Elland to do a few of yours, its often a double decker with 503 on the front. Couldn't find a photo of that on google though.
  5. This is my usual method of transport to get me to caches:

    All Finds Pq

Never mind, I've found it. Thanks adambro

    All Finds Pq

How'd you get it into Google Earth please? adambro
  8. Agreed, bearing in mind this is an international forum theres a good chance its not light where a load of the users are. Night caching is not always an option. Cache when you like, do PQs when you like!
  9. Just did a search for 'Boat Required' caches in the UK and got back 13. Of those however, some where just near water. Hmm. I'd hardly call that 'Boat Required'. Perhaps people need to pay more attention to what attributes they are setting now you can run PQs on them. adambro
  10. This is ace!!!! Nice one Groundspeak. Now I can find kayak caches!
  11. I now notice you can include and exclude different attributes from a PQ. Very nice. Must have just gone live. I've being setting up a number of PQs this evening and only just noticed. adambro
  12. Anyone got any opinions about the Acer n35 GPS PDA. The GPS software bundled with it doesn't look like it would be suitable for geocaching. Any thoughts?
  13. I like the idea of going paperless. I've seen some software that takes gpx files and converts them into a load of html files. What PDAs do these work on? Also it would be nice to be able to view spoiler photos etc, any suggestions as to which PDA to go for? adambro
  14. The log for the cache I rescued a few weeks ago could have read: Took Soaking Wet Logbook and disgusting container. Left New Logbook and new container.
  15. Thanks thats really what I was wanting to know, I'll try interept what I've written. It is trackable on GC.com. Regards, adambro
  16. Hi there, I found a Michigan Geocoin yesterday in a cache, took down the tracking number and put it back. However, it seems either I wrote it down wrong or can't read my writing. Does anyone have any examples of what the tracking code should be like (the format), or is there a virtual one out there that I compare the number with. Thanks, adambro
  17. I'm not sure what the point of this thread is. I think it would be better if it just contained the following links: Groundspeak Terms of Use Geocaching Listing Requirements/Guidelines Hiding your first geocache tutorial Geocaching - Disclaimer The test questions are really quite ambiguous.
  18. I think the best idea is to just not mention micros.
  19. Thanks fruity! I logged it first today. adambro
  20. Thanks for the update Jeremy. adambro
  21. My first few were done by writing out the important info down in a notebook. This was really because I didn't need much beyond the coords and I didn't have access to a working printer. Went to do a multi cache for which I needed photographs of various locations in a park, so I took a photo with my camera of the photos on my PC screen then just looked on the camera screen. Coords entered by hand, just check it once you've input it and its not a problem. Recently, I've started printing out the cache pages but would like to try paperless just don't have a PDA at the moment. adambro
  22. There is no real urgency with the adoption request just want to get it done. Was just reflecting on the fact that as I'm thinking about going home, the guys over at Groundspeak in the US will only just be starting work. Keep up the good work guys! adambro
