  1. I'm in the process of sorting out some reminder emails. Don't want to accidently send out a few hundred emails though so I'm being careful! Initally, I'll send them out to all users but it will have a link to disable future reminders if you so wish.
  2. Yes I know what you mean. Went caching last Thursday and it didn't all go to plan but it still felt good.
  3. Yes, caching in the winter has been good because quite often all the mud is frozen. All the cold has been wrecking my lips though.
  4. We've got our first snow of this spell now in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Got a decent covering and its still coming down.
  5. I'd say YES, keep it as it is. I don't think its fair to discriminate simply because the caches have 'Motorway Mayhem' in their name. Drive by caches are nothing new. But the series is getting quite popular, 69 the last time I updated my bookmark list of them. If the max you can have on a list is still 100, I fear i'm going to be struggling soon.
  6. Leeds City is the only one really in the centre thats available. I think it took me about 5 minutes to walk to it from the station when I did it a few days ago. The webcam has been down for a while.
  7. Should be okay now, sorry about that.
  8. Also gone with alistair_uk's suggestion.
  9. OK P&T, I have updated the page as your suggestion to clarify that rule. I must add that these are the rules that were used before and I'm just trying to ensure they are understood.
  10. P&T, I never did get round to sending that email I'm afraid, I'll get it sorted. I'll add a note on the submit results page. Regarding the rules: 3. Travel bugs and Geocoins will be counted on the day you picked them up. All bugs/coins need to be picked up to be moved to be counted. Travel bugs or Geocoins logged out and then back into caches or events do not count. 4. Travel bugs released applies to newly activated by you and released that month. Is it #4 that is confusing? Is your point that it should perhaps restrict it to coins/TBs released into caches not activated and sitting in collections? I don't think we should get too worried about the rules as its only for fun but understand that they should be as clear as possible. Thanks for your input.
  11. Hi all, Just a quick note to remind people that the Cacher of the Month website is now accepting results for the month of February. The latest date for submitting your stats is the 15th of March. If you haven't taken part before you can now register on the website. If anyone has any problems please let me know. Regards, Adam
  12. All your TB tags have now been sold, I hope I haven't missed out, I've mentioned before that I've been after a couple. Thanks Adam
  13. Alex, are you going to be able to meet up sometime so I could buy some things from you in person? Thanks Adam
  14. My brother bought a Garmin eTrex. I read about Geocaching. Did a few without a GPS then stole my brothers since he never used it. I've just got round to buying it from him. So you could say I didn't have a GPS until getting into Geocaching.
  15. Quite interesting how different it can be. Here in Huddersfield we have bright sunshine, blue skys with only high level clouds. Like Deego says though, its quite cold!
  16. I would suggest Jeeep.com for converting coords. I don't really work with grid references but Streetmap will give you them and other formats.
  17. Lets just consider ourselves lucky that the trio didn't end up in Old Cock Yard in Halifax.
  18. Yes, I've done it: Motorway Mayhem Bookmark List But yes keyword PQs would be good but I suspect this would put a significant load on the server.
  19. Presumably because the old one was appalling.
  20. Ahh yes, that's a big improvement.
  21. Moote, your supposed to sign the log, not blast it into next year!
