  1. I have to thank you. You have just helped me with many problems at one time. For the longest time I couldn't understand why I had to load one cache at a time. And I couldnt understand why in screenshots I've looked at there were many geocaches listed to be converted. I could never get more than one. I have been playing with things and never thought to convert things to one file. I did what you said with gsak and it worked out just fine. So thank you so much.
  2. the only way I could find to show one cache was to go to preferences then to active setup then down to geocaches. from there i pick select file but i can only pick one file. I tried to make a new folder but I cant select the folder as a whole. when i select a file it asks yes or no on making that file active. if i select a new file after that one it clears the first. I would like to make all active
  3. I there a way to have all my caches shown on my map on a 600? I have been able to have one cache show up but that does not help me to see what cache is the closest. I would like to have all the caches in the 600's memory show up on the basemap or the detailed map. Thanks
  4. I just had this same problem today. First as said above make sure your cable is not backwards. Also try the 3 finger push. push OUT/ GOTO/ PWR all at the same time. This will rest your GPS. You will lose all data that is not on the SD card. After the reset I was up and running again. Good Luck
  5. Maybe it was placed not to long ago. The owner may just be waiting for it to be approved and listed. But I will say its strange that its not listed. Does the cache seem to be new (clean, Empty log book)? Please let us know what you find out. You have caught my attention.
  6. Ok what am I doing wrong here? I chick on the waypoints for download in .GPX or .LOC format. And everytime they save as .ASPX files. And when I try to load them in easygps the program cant see them. I know it wont see them because of the file format. I just dont know why I cant save them as .GPX or .LOC files. What can I do to change this. Thank
  7. BlueBird I checked my email but there was nothing there. Im having problem with email when its sent from the forum. I email you from the forum with my direct email address. let me know if you get it. Thank you
  8. I Have just bought a Magellan eXplorist 600. I would like to know if there is any other programs to upload maps to my unit? I know about Mapsend but I dont want to spend $150 plus on a map since I will only be using it in one area. I have tried playing with my Xmap software from Delorme without any luck. The Xmap works fine in my Ipaq with GPS for what I use it for. Can I covert the Xmap to a format my magellan would understand and if so what would I use to do it? Thanks
