  1. Hi there! We are traveling to Amsterdam the end of July, can anyone help me out? I will collect the numbers when I'm there.. (Interestingly, I should be in the Atlanta area the end of Sept for a family wedding... Karma?) Pls message or mail me. Thanks!
  2. I have reviewed my records, and added some new from Cache Friday (beats Black Friday, hands down...) and my new SQ number is 173. I hope.
  3. Sounds right. Since this is the only site that I'm having problems with, I think I'll wait for now. Messing around with the registry is way beyond my comfort level.
  4. XP, sp3 I think. I'm pretty sure it downloaded and installed it. And yes, but nothing new on the add-ons. I've had the same add-ons for quite some time and just now started having problems. I even removed a couple that I don't ever use, and it still does it.
  5. Using FireFox 3.0.3, it will allow me to sign on (only using the logon on the first screen option), and open my account page but will not allow me to do anything else. When I try to open a cache page, a trackable page, or even log out - basically anything that means I have to go to a page other than the first page or my account page - it gives me a "bad request (invalid verb)" error. No other reference. I even tried uninstalling FireFox today, and redownloading it, and got the same thing. I know some people have said that they're not having the page cut off problems with FireFox that IE6 is using, so I presume that this isn't a problem for them? This is the only site that I'm having probelms with, FireFox has worked just fine for everything else I do. I haven't been able to do anything with FireFox since the upgrade last month. I've been having to use IE.
  6. the map shows me reasonably where my ISP is from, although I wouldn't mind seeing other parts of the world. I have lots of time to look at it 'cause that and come here is all I can do right now. When I try to search for a cache, open a cache from my last 30 days list, or open a trackable item, I get a message that says "bad request (invalid verb)" I've tried logging off so I could sign back on, and I get the same error message. I even shut everything down and restarted my computer with no change. I'm getting emails that there are new caches, and other people are logging things, so is it just me????? Okay, it seems to be not working in Firefox, but working okay with IE.
  7. As of 07/24/08 (last my finds PQ, I'll run an update as soon as I get all of the MWGB trip finds logged - about Y3K at the rate it's been going!) I have 116 Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Ontario Spirit Quest finds. If my records are correct, there's 45 waiting to be logged. A number challenged only by the number of finds that I have with some form of "Mr Incredible" in the name... Plus 7 MSQ's hidden.
  8. Wow - 2k. Does that make me old?
  9. I have to vote for The Herd, and 1markymark1's jeep. Not the Barbie jeep... Just imagine the pics we could have had this year... (sigh...)
  10. Ah - the Fifth chapter heard from! A big howdy. We Michiganders (or is it Michiganians?) are here, we're just a little quieter. See how many have come out of the woodwork when you look?
  11. Yes, and just with this coin. It let me activate it and drop it into a cache, and now no one can pick it back up again. It just comes up with a null entry error. Let me pick up any of the others coins and TB's, just not this one.
  12. Don't worry, there are tons of nuts to go around... oh,wait, you were refering to the coins. Sorry, got a little confused for a moment there!
  13. I think that originally something was said about those who were screwed getting a heads up but just in case, I'd better add my two cents worth... I'll be wanting at least one. As a chick, I don't require two nuts for my screw...
  14. Oh man, I have to be on the road at 0900 Friday to catch a plane. Time to put together plan B...
  15. Warning - if you are pulled over in Battle Creek, MI, and cannot produce your valid DL (even if they can show you have one but have just left it at home, etc) you may very well end up visiting me at the County jail, and it will cost you $100 in bond to leave. No ops on person is the official charge. I think it might be a local ordinance, as we don't see the other agencies do it. As for the copy, couldn't tell you. Sorry
  16. I use the above method also. Drawer === Black Hole drawer = black hole desk = black hole bag = black hole. car and truck = twin black holes brain = mother of all black holes. my friend makes fun of me for writing such things down in about 5 different places, but it takes work to loose all of them.
  17. Never having partaken in an "event" like this before, and only here becuase my friend was at work and asked me to stand in, I have only one thought, well, okay I have more but... Picture people walking down a parade route throwing candy out to the kids... Congrats on all who made it. Say good night Gracie...
  18. For those who haven't yet, got my series 1 today (was actually home, and saved the trip to the PO this time.) They look great. The site says series 1 is sold out, so I guess that's the time to get series 2 rolling, before interest wanes?
  19. my WAG is midnight PST if automated. otherwise????? "Closing time - you don't have to go home but you can't stay here..."
  20. 1. I cache alone frequently although my Chauffer hasn't said the N word. When he does come, he frequently just sits in the car and waits for me, hence the name. I like the solitude sometimes, the fact that I can walk at my own pace, listen to my headphones if I want, do what I want without having to committee it. I also cache regularly with another couple, and like having someone to chat with, someone else to help me find the cache, so when I have to DNF it I know it's not just me. I've been to a couple of events, really enjoyed meeting others. If you get a chance, I really recommend it. Doesn't mean you'll like them all, but I bet you meet some you'd like to visit with sometimes. 2. Let's all stand up and give the man a big hand gor his final thoughts. Bravo.
  21. most memorably, I was on an easy treck, just follow the path. right? except that there was a fork in the road, and I took the wrong one. So instead of taking the loop around (didn't know how far it would be) or going back and taking the correct one... I figued it couldn't be that far across, and bushwacked through the middle. The briars and such got about 5 ft tall and very thick, and I circled around, and by the time I got unstubborn enough to consider going back, it looked worse than continuing on. About the only thing it had going for it was that it was all realatively flat. Once I finally got to the correct path, the cache was an easy 6ft or so off it. I did take the easy way back to the car, though. I wouldn't say I turned the 1/1 into a 1/5, but maybe a 3.5?
