  5. its YOUR game of clue - why not just substitiute "Knife" with "a really sharp pencil" and "gun" with "a large book of impossible sodukus"?
  6. Right on! Be sure to get permission from the garage owner as well before you begin painting. Might want to notify the other cache owner as well - maybe they will help!

  8. a LITTLE? I think it would take a huge amount of spray paint to coat even the smallest of parking garages... Just a little 4th grade English.. Cache is the subject of the sentence, not garage. Interesting assumption... Looking forward to clarification from Chokecherry.

  10. You mean this? or have the roadside micro power trails come to The Great White North? Because if they haven't, they will. Trust me. They have ventured into Canada, but not quite to the extent as with the US: http://www.geocaching.com/map/default.aspx...p;lng=-80.24348 Still in the N42's though, so that should give us some time to build the barricades..
  11. All you need is a really strong gag-reflex... It recently became possible to do this in Canada too, so i am told..
  12. That happens during summer months, try back again August 1
  13. Earthcaches were moved to Waymarking for a while. I had a few "Earthmarks" on there. Sat there for a year or so without any visitors (like 90% of my waymarks). Groundspeak tried it - and I am sure GSA did not like being thrown to a site that got no traffic and threatened legal action. So - Earthmarking did NOT bolster waymarkings validity. The only thing that Waymarking has done for the geocaching community is divide and confuse players. So... Do tell. How much do you waymark? http://www.Waymarking.com/images/stats.asp...68-b221e7c44116
  14. Their site got hacked - dont think anyone replaced it. It is a dead-org
  15. Earthcaches have been part of geocaching longer then most players, including the OP. Same with virtuals and locationless. The earliest definition of "geocaching" included these cache types, so why exactly are people spouting "This isn't geocaching!" when it clearly is? It's kind of like getting kicked out of a club that you yourself started, and being told you aren't in the spirit of the society. If you dont like virtuals, earthcaches, micros - filter them. But to move them to another site because it doesn't meet your particular definition of purity - that is wrong.
  16. Here is the Ontario one.. without the "commercial" content http://coord.info/GC2B1PF

  23. TO GET THERE: looks like you approach by taking the rail trail in (starting at roughly N 49° 13.003 W 118° 07.549) Start off with some easy caches, get used to your GPS before venturing far away from the road.
  24. hmm, sounds like a challenge..
  25. The earths diameter and gravity distribution also shifted (as they do every earthquake) The GPS system normally needs to be adjusted after every major earthquake
