Couldnt agree more guys....Although the more bad people know about us the more inevitible it will be that caches get trashed, been proved time and time again. BUT on the other side of the coin is T+Js argument and I thurilly believe they are right. I would be happy to take part again, but then I am a young man who needs to get noticed Feel free to email me if you want the Pidstar on your show Pid -------------------------------------------------------- www.buckscaching.co.uk Did I hear a rustling over there Dan? Your thoughts on underwater caches.
Ben Pid replied to Meriadoc's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
LoL....Wont it just take you to the general vacinity where you then have to duck under and dive to the cache classic. I have seen one near America where you hvae to dive down to a wreck.. What if they can't find it and run out of Air Supply? rush to the top then get the bends....now that would be one hard hard cache. Strange logs in the logbook
Ben Pid replied to The Northumbrian's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
The most annoying logs are the ones that make it to the website but dont say a word.....nothing.....a blank log!!! had it once at Sleeping Saints! cheeky lil minx. Funny logs....havent laughed so much in a long time when I read the Geocraig log on this cache. That is a classic. Although Im sure you'll beg to differ on some of Dan and mines being funnier Pid -------------------------------------------------------- One ring to rule them all, One ring to find them, One ring to bring them all and in the Darkness bind them! www.buckscaching.co.uk -

In reply to Slytherin's earlier post about hte disgusting cache he found... I have just (in my immense bordem) been trying to find which cache it was he logged, anyway found it and it was this one ... Absolute classic.... I was going to paste the funniest log I have ever seen on a cache page on here but due to its nature I have decided against it....I'll point you towards it instead.. SEPTEMBER 18TH GeoCraig! LoL. Wild absolutly Wild! Anyway.....back to topic.... -------------------------------------------------------- One ring to rule them all, One ring to find them, One ring to bring them all and in the Darkness bind them! www.buckscaching.co.uk

Fairplay to Tim and June for taking the time to point out to new cachers what is the best way to go about caching. I don't see the problem with planting before finding - so long as you have the knowledge of what Geocaching is all about its all good. If you read T+Js post and adhere to it there isnt really a need to find before you hide, is there?? :-S If you havent found and want to hide I would say read through the site thurilly and make sure you are adhering to all wants and dislikes as well as T+Js suggestions. Although I find extremly pants caches funny, newbies may not find them so... A Mound in the middle of a tip by a poublic footpath would make for alaugh! and thats what i like bout caching....but a new cacher may be put off by having to trapze through knee high cack. Pick yer location - even if it isnt great hide it well and make the page great so people go there and find out why you picked it. quote:Pid, what is the basis of this comment? Which forum posts are you upset by? Anything by the Question Mark, and ones that start like this! about Widescreen TVs. Main reason of why I dont like stuff like this happening is because you'll probably all think its us. Yes we have caued trouble in the past, said wrong things - stepped on wrong eggshells... etc etc. But I for one wouldnt disrespect you all in such a big way. I hate the thought of having the finger pointed at me for something I am not the culprit of. Why cant they all just leave us and our sport in peace and harmony!? -------------------------------------------------------- One ring to rule them all, One ring to find them, One ring to bring them all and in the Darkness bind them! www.buckscaching.co.uk

Recently had Lucky Strike plundered and Egyptian Springs was moved only for Pharisee to find it again. Theres certainly some dodgy business going on around here and I want to get to the bottom of it. I have had a not found at my cache up West Wycombe hill recntly too - havent had chance to check it but this many in such a short time is beginning to make me wonder. Mermans cache going missing is ridiculous! We were all Jubious about going on the TV and I am sorry to say i starting to feel it was the wrong choice. No disrespect to new cachers when I say this because I have every respect for new cachers who are willing to the game but I am finding of late that these forums in particular are becoming the local doss house for the criminally insane. Yes I can all hear you saying " Your a fine one to talk Pidster" I know I have caused my fair share of trouble overthe last few months but it doesnt mean I am any less wary of what our sport may become if things like this keep happening. We gotta act before its too late guys!
