I requested mine in the first round of them and never saw it.

Phew! That was a lot of work on our ends.. I can't imagine how much work you had to put into it! It'll be much easier the next time around I'm sure from my end, but thank you so much for your hard work! If all goes well I got some great coins from this trade.. and I picked up some coin lots for this trade so I'm left with some very nice traders for future trades and missions. I think I only made one mistake this year but it's still an ok by me trade (and totally my fault). I meant to put the LE edition of the Laval K-9 coin in for my personal geocoin that I only had 2 made of instead of the Laval K-9 Bronze version that I did (off by 2 numbers I think) but I still am happy with the version I got, and the personal coin is going to a great person via that trade triangle :-)

I decieded that tea is much more in order for waiting.. I can't wait to see if I actually made any successful trades in this mission. The suspense is killing me!! lol.

There were a couple of folks that were the only ones from their countries that sent me requests.. but they also didn't state they wouldn't do international shipping. MoonCat & KDT, Sivota, yanagi MoonCat & KDT said they're fine with international, but If there is an issue with doing international shipping for either of you other two please let me know.

If you're interested I still haven't sent out names because I'm waiting for Keewee's info to know if he's doing international shipping or not. Send me your info and I'll add you in. (include your shipping info, link to a want list (or themes you like), and if you'll do international or not)

In this particular mission you will not be sending to the person who gets you, unless I have two folks who only want to send to their own country and they are both from that country. Hmm.. slightly newbie question.. do events have to be outdoors? Since we're in an area where it will likely be under snow on 11-11-11 can event caches and what not be placed indoors if I were to find a venue that we could use? With some outdoors for die hard cachers in the area, and some indoors for folks who are not winter cachers but would enjoy an event in november.. Just the start of an idea...

Boo! No! This is an awesome mission!! And if you had done that then those of us who didn't join (because we were too new and didn't have coins to send yet) wouldn't have had the enjoyment of watching this thread!! I have been having a great time posting and joking with the folks that have been a part of this mission! The length of this mission was actually what makes it special I think! People have found ways to keep this thread alive while waiting for the mission to commence! What a great group.. Even though I am not waiting for a mission I've been honored to be a part of this thread! Thank you so much Ive enjoyed it so much so that I started my own mission (Coin Spotlight Mission- pick a coin and be super creative baseing a mission around that coin! Monetary value is not as important as creativity! Taking names till June 24 ) but it's not nearly as exciting as this mission.. :-)

Looking for this coin... I lost a therapy lab (yellow like on this coin).. we're on the brink of loosing our family rottie (who all 3 of us trained in 4-H).. and there's a sheltie on there ( my oldest sheltie is now 7 and my sister's is almost 9). Since I do therapy dog work I have a couple of other dogs I've worked with on this coin that are now making a difference in nursing homes, reading programs etc. and I would love to have this coin to show to my 4-H kids ( both the dogs kids and the geocaching 4-H kids in the area) I actually can name a name (and sometimes tears associated with those names since several great dogs are no longer with us) for every dog on that coin now after having trained dogs for almost 18 years and having worked with pet owners and 4-Hers for that long.. I actually was stunned at that revelation...so many great dogs. Any how this is an awesome coin so if you have one that you might be thinking of letting go please contact me..and if I don't have something you're interested in maybe we can work something out! (I love a good treasure hunt!) **Edited to note that my aussie is annoyed that there is no aussie on the coin **
