I have lived in N.Cal. all my life and have never visited Mt. Diablo. I would like to take a drive there this spring to see the sights and find a few caches. Would someone please share a way point that would make a good center to start planning my search? Is there a cache at the top? Can we drive to the top? Thank you, Alan GeoSharks

99.9% of the time it's TNLN. Often I grab the log and don't even look at the stuff. I bring a little swag along just in case.

My Sportrak Pro has four very small cracks also.

We have a group of RCGDS members that go kayak caching. Last fall we got together and did a few yakable caches on Folsom Lake. I think there was 6 kayaks and a canoe. We had a great time. Many of us have also done yakable caches on Lake Natomas and along the American River. I think of you were to place a handfull of yakable caches along a route that could be found within a few hours, people would come. I'm not talking about multi's. I'm sure we would get a group together to find those.

There is one in Maui that you stay under water to do. It has a divers slate for the log. Take a look at King Kahekili . It's a fun one. I'm sure there are more out there. Alan
