quote:Originally posted by Maps-R-Us: We plan on... camping in the park. That could be lots of fun if others decide to do the same. Maybe grab one of those group camping areas! Wouldnt it be cool to camp and do a night time Snipe type cache hunt similar to After Dark We could have Smoor Travel bugs (could get messy) during this Snipe cache hunt. I would be willing to create the container if somebody would help with the hunt... Maybe have 2 teams since this place is so huge and fun. Just a thought. Any more?

This is the park my friends got married to the sound of the "Emperors March", and on top of the wedding cake had Han Solo and Princess Leah figurines instead of the traditional Man/Wife. An absolute riot. Definitly count me in on either May or June (leaning toward June).

quote:Oh.. and I just put a new cache out: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=17363 Fractal, I just drove past that park today (close to my work), and I was SERIOUSLY thinking of placing a cache there. It was in my mind all day about where to place one, since I scouted the park a few months ago. Then out of the blue, you post the ESP cache there. Spooky. You are reading my mind. I am familiar with 5 of the 6 spots there. I have an idea where it might be.. Didnt know you placed one there earlier. Weird.

During your last Top Score meeting, I got totally wet/muddy from scouting a new cache site, and didnt want to look like some waste-oid to everyone. I have got to learn to wear something besides a tee-shirt and jeans. Plus, I gotta start decrypting "Contact" again. Watched the movie, and I will put the clues together soon. -C

A general reminder to anyone who may have placed a cache on or near ANY Oregon beach... Your cache may be in Jeopardy! The organizationSOLV(Stop Oregon Litter and Vandalizm) is having their semi annual beach cleanup on April 6th from 10am-1pm. They will remove ANYTHING that looks like trash along the ENTIRE Oregon coast. Consider yourself warned. As a side note #1: I plan on volunteering for this operation. It helps our threatened animal species and helps keep our beaches clean. If anybody wants to join just post here. I am sure we can work something out. Side note #2: I think there is a Washington version of this operation. Still need to look into it. Side note #3: Should I post this to the "General" forum? -Chris

His last name was Campbell! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, T-storm (and everyone). This is perfect and I will get to re-writing ASAP. And.. I am called "soup" because it is a shortened form of "superman". My name happens to be the same as the actor who plays him.

I must say that Oregon has the best "overall" score in places to live. Sure there is no Gila Monsters, Blistering sun, or 5 hour commutes to work... but I will survive. No worries LC as you will slowly come over to the "Dank" side.

Ever got a co-worker or a customer into Geocaching???
soup replied to GOT GPS?'s topic in General geocaching topics
Since I was pretty obsessed with the sport for awhile, I was always checking local caches from work. My coworkers, seeing my lack of productivity became interested. 2 of them have now picked up the sport and have become as un-productive as I. -C -
So fractal, going to have another TopScore Gathering? I will try to make the next one. -C

Hopefully RedwoodRed will find her letter. I will begin composing the letter soon and I will let you all know how it goes. Thanks! Chris.
