  1. I just wanted to mention that I had a BLAST during last Wednesday Night's Event. It was great seeing ol' friends, and meeting new ones.

I look forward to the next meeting, exceipt I am kinda afraid of what Mr. Tungsten has in store for us.. icon_eek.gif

Its as BAD as you think, and they ARE out to get you..

Looks like people have different ideas on a meeting spot. They all sound good but..

Could somebody notify me of the final destination?? I can rarly get into the forums, so I dont want to take a chance of missing this meeting if its in a new place.

  4. Thanks fractal and Lauren. I dont have internet or TV at my place because I am easily distracted and I need to finish my yard. I should just have a Geocaching Bar-Be-Que and tell everyone there are caches buired all around my property...

I would say "There is a cache under that patch of weeds!! Dig them out and log it" or "There is a secret message written in my yard!!... use the Geo-lawnmower and discover the message".

Hmmm... maybe that aint such a bad idea.. >;)

  9. I will pull out my old Contact data and try to solve this sucka by this next weekend. When (if I am successful) I solve, I will also participate in the cleanup. Its time to take this cache from the back burner to the front fire, so I can help in the cleanup. -C

We already have that one all planned out. Please don't place one up there, we'd really appreciate it.

Ok, Oregone, I am taking my camera and I WILL FIND Andrea! Or at least come close! As for placement under the big "G". No worries, I have 2 caches I am currently working on.

BTW, Nice way to stir up controversy in the General forum WR!! Jeez, you should have thrown rocks at a hornets nest, as you may have gotten better results. icon_wink.gif

Secret Message to WR: [.stnetnoc ehcac eht egnahc t'noD] Heh, nobody will figure that one out! icon_biggrin.gif

  13. I think its a great idea to Beta Test caches. Its good to "work" out the bugs before it is unleashed on the world. I just tested one of Tungsten's caches. I think the information we shared will definitly be useful. I will definitly have a beta tester for my "Whistle while you cache II" coming soon.

  15. I have some firewood I will supply. Are campfires allowed? Hope so since camping just isnt camping without a good campfire. Bobby Dazzeler is a great beer. Looking forward to liberating a bottle from Oregone. icon_biggrin.gif This event is looking to be very very fun! I cant wait.

  17. Back in November in WA, I found a group of guys going on a GeoPub run. It was a 5 cache/5 pub event. They would hit a cache, then hit a pub, hit a cache, hit a pub... etc. It sounded like fun. I had forgotten about it until this post. That would be a fun event, since there are many close in caches around PDX. As long as there is a designated GeoPrude to drive these GeoLushes around.

    Very Interesting.... Oregone?

  18. Hey W.R. my g-frind and I are heading out that way soon. I believe I will hunt for it as it looks great! I love the little town of Gilabaldi (spelling sux). There is a little restaurant by the beach that is mega romantic, espically since the beach is right next to it. Great place to bring a GEOdate. icon_wink.gif

VDS, thanks for mentioning this cache. Let me know how you are progressing. I bet a fisherman was in the way. icon_biggrin.gif

As for other Fedway caches.. it looks like everyone beat me to the punch. I would do what they suggested. You will have a great time.

Want a great (but weird) drink? The place is called something like "Bubble Time". Its an Asian drink place that has a wonderful selection of "bubble teas" YUM! Its weird at first (there is tapioca at the bottom icon_eek.gif) but they are surprisingly addicting. Its right by RedRobin and TonyRoma's, but accross the street in a strip mall. Have fun up there
