We have a couple of ideas for caches that we'll work on once we're past this wedding stuff. These caches may be a little too easy for Jerry and Hawk-Eye's tastes but we'll do what we can.

[Mapsource R&R and Topo conflict]

I can't test this solution since I only have "R&R" but I'd try just installing the latest version of Mapsource (3.02 from "Topo") and use it with both "R&R" and "Topo" CDs. I think there is a drop down list where you can select the CDs you want to use. You may want to download the Mapsource 4.06 update from Garmin's web site also.
