  4. quote:Originally posted by ETREX 700: I'm not old enough to drive yet so I've been know to do some dumb things to get to a cache. Once I walked six miles from a bus stop along a busy road on a late winter night while it was snowing heavily. I had packed everything I would need, or so I thought. Got to the giant hollow, thick with trees and bushes, time to get the flashlight, but wait, oh no...forgot to pack that!!! Oh well I'll just call my mom to come pick me up, cell phone battery dead, but I'm a ham operator so I pulled out the radio to make an autopatch call, what are the chances, I wasn't able to get the first two letters of my callsign off before the radio flickered and died. I sat down on a curb in frustration, downed a pepsi, and began the six mile walk back to the bus stop, past 10:00. Finally made it home just before one, after a long wait at the bus stop, and a slow drive home, on a bus with an insane driver. I have the same problem I cant drive yet but i use my bicycle and i do not ever have to wary about snow.

Found out about caching on Monday, bought a legend on Tuesday, first cache on Thursday... My wife feels a new addiction coming on! David in Idaho Yes it is a very big addiction I started last year and every chance i get (which is not often) I cache. O and welcome to the club.
  6. quote:Originally posted by Renegade Knight:Reminds me of a joke. This guy has a birthday and his secreary takes him out to lunch. They get to talking and one thing leads to another and they end up at her place for a roll in the hay. It's getting late and he heads home to face the music. On the way home he stops at a park and rolls in the grass. Then he goes home. His wife confronts him with "Where have you been!" So he says, "My secretary took me to lunch and one thing let to another and I slept with her". She looks him up and down and says "Yeah right, you've been golfing again" ===================== Wherever you go there you are. That is a very funney joke may I use it and tell it to my friends?

I guess it's ok to promote polution just as long as it's thrust on others and not our back yard. How very big of you. Thanks for caring about the planet. george Remember: Half the people you meet are below average. obviously GEORGEANDMARY are lacking the brain mass to come up with a better and more politic subject for discussing the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.
