  1. I'm hoping for SLC or Dallas. I've got family in one location and friends in the other.
  2. I signed the log, my dog marked the tree, I used ink, the dog used......
  3. Hmmm... 10%... My brother was the Steelers fan growing up... not me.
  4. There's a bit of the southwest that looks empty. I think I live too close to Nero for a pin at my house to make much of a difference though.
  5. But it's harder to find the coins your looking for on cointracking.com since anyone can create a database entry and use any image they want and call it what ever they want. That makes it way more difficult to do searches. So, cointracking.com may have a larger database, but how many times are you counting a particular coin? (I just counted my Arizona Season coin is listed under different naming schemes, three of which use the same picture.) Also, if you want to have a decent image of both sides of the coin on the list, you have to pay for an edition for that privilege on cointracking.com. Geocoincollection.com doesn't like to use pictures unless they are taken by the collectors using the service. This is to avoid issues with copyright infringements, so there's a big dif. Snagging images isn't always the best option. I see tons of artwork images in some of the images on cointracking.com are early artworks of coins that are never coming. Getting images posted is just a matter of the collectors out there uploading them. I left cointracking.com because it was getting too difficult to sort out what coins were available for trade and by who. With the geocoincollection.com database, I know exactly who has what available.... no guesses if the image in use is what's really being advertised. Besides, it's way easier to manage you collection on geocoincollection.com. You log in, search for the name of the coin, add the number coins under the categories of seek, keep or trade, hit submit... and you're done. Four easy steps, three if you have cookies enabled since you wouldn't have to log in.
  6. Not sure what day they came, I was told this morning when I woke up that a box had arrived in the mail. Sure enough I have a hand full of jerseys.
  7. When we were having the drawings for the albums at the Arizona event, we opened one of the books up and from what I could tell the bindings are actually screws that you can remove to adjust the book the way you want. I know it wouldn't take much to fix the books to allow you to add more pages. the only trick would be getting longer screws and the additional pages. I really like the albums, but there are some coins that I would definitely not put in there... like the spinning top coins.
  8. I have a number of Arizona Geocoinfest coins available for trade, both Found and DNF. I'd really like to trade for some of the other Geocoinfest Multi-Event coins, I have plenty to trade for other coins. While my seeking list isn't very up-to-date, my keeping list is.
  9. So here's a question... Can I get tracking numbers for these?
  10. I saw that Texas had a location coin. I did a pair for Arizona location... Were there any other sites that did a unique coin for their locations? Everyone that attended the AZ event got a yellow "Found It" for free.
  11. Is there a reason that the single location events can't be done in the spring and the multi-events are done in the fall? Or if it's necessary for logistics, swap the event timings?
  12. I'm not allowed to sleep. My weekend job didn't process my time off request, so my itinerary looks like this: 9PM - 5AM work (hope to get some sleep, but I have stuff still to do.) 1PM - 5PM event (hope to get more sleep) 9PM - 5AM work
  13. I just got a box of 200 coins that I'm using as a doorstop right now.
  14. It could always commemorate the MASH Cache that's located on the old set. Of course there's already a coin with a similar design:
  15. I got a nice big 20 lbs box shipped through USPS. Contents: A big surprise! Hint: (Its a good thing they arrived this week.)
  16. OH GOSH!!! I hope not, I still have so much to do.
  17. There are some copyright issues with doing that, but it's way better than linking to their site and eating up their bandwidth. Geocoincollection.com had a problem with ebay auctions using links to their images. This would suck up bandwidth and gave no benefit to the host. If you do take your own pictures, you'd be surprised how easy it is to remove tracking numbers using something simple like MS Paint. Step 1: Select an area adjacent to the area you want to cover. Step 2: Drag the selected area to cover the unwanted text and then save as a new file.
  18. Just a note, and I believe I can speak with some authority here. There is no such thing as a Team A.I. Silver. All versions are Bronze with the paint variations on the back being Blue, Green and Black. But congratulations none the less for solving the puzzle guys!
  19. Send me your collection I will take photo it for you. DON'T DO IT AG.....Your being bamboozled I tell ya If you just send me the coins that I don't have in my collection, I'll take care of the photos. That may save you some on the shipping charges. Of course, I'll pay for the shipping if you need.
  20. But it's missing a lot of coins from it's listings...
  21. Considering that it's private information between the customer and the mint, I'd be leary about using any mint that released private sales information to a unauthorized third party. They'd likely be opening themselves up to a law suit by disclosing such information... so I don't think that route is going to work. I wasn't suggesting to get private info (without customer concent), but mostly to get the info that they published in an attempt to sell the coin. Of course, most of that info is still on the web somewhere and it could probably be obtained with a little bit of searching, without getting the mint involved. I think the best route would be to contact the coin owner/producer/designer would be the more ethical. contacting mints for information could get ethically dicey. If they don't wish to provide the information, it's their prerogative. If the mint is solely responsible, then thats another case. It has been stated in other threads that some people believe that minting information is proprietary to their business operation and won't be released.
