  1. The only time I have ever been stopped and asked by an 'authority' was on a caching trip in Graham County Arizona. I was parked on the side of the road checking the information on my PDA and verifying with my GPS... when a County Sherrif's Deputy stopped next to me. He asked what I was doing, and I showed him what I was looking at, and explained geocaching. He's response was heartwarming... he said he would go check it out. He had just bought a GPSr and was wondering what else he could do with it. His initial concern was that I was in an area where the local criminals liked to dump stolen property (stripped cars). Log for the find... http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=47662 of course there are also any caches I do with my team mate.
  2. Between the desert critters, the cacti, and the sun... I don't believe 'Nude Caching' will catch on here in the desert soon.
  3. I have a Mapsoruce file with all my finds on it, that I use to keep track. I download cache info from the AZGeocaching site to my PDA(SONY CLIE t655). I've probably saved half the cost of the PDA in ink cartridges. I also keep a updated file of all the caches in Arizona on a my memory stick. The complete list is not the most user friendly format to view, but it has saved me a headache on more than one occasion.
  4. I went up to Vegas from the Phoenix area about two months ago. I drove up and managed to find 10 caches (ok some were virtual), and go to my friends wedding in one day.
