I know this date doesn't work well for everyone but is there a group coin project being planned for this date?
Thanks, CF30
Hello Crowesfest30,
We @ Geoswag have almost completed everything that we are going to be doing for this years group coin project for the 12-13-14 event coin. Janae and I will be heading up the project for this years coin. I will have a link on Geoswag.com and an email by tomorrow. Most of the questions will be on the website.
Thanks!
Hans

I got a message today and I know my coins had not shipped as of this afternoon. Michael said he was working on shipments.
So "We will ship on Monday" meant we will ship sometime after Monday if you are lucky you might get them in time for your event. I understand Michael is new but there are people at Oakcoins that have been around the block with this before. Why are they not helping him instead of leaving him flailing. This is why I do not take my designs to Oakcoins.(Other than the fact they never get back to me)
Please contact me with any issues on what we haven't replied too. My email address is geohans@gmail.com.

All
As one of the founding partners of Oakcoins I want to thank Mark and Michael for working on this project. I know that Michael put a lot of time into this project and worked many hours on this. He went above and beyond on this project to make sure it was very successful. He spent many hours after hours working on this project to make sure it was done in a timely manner. To work on 60+ different versions of this coin and work with 60+ different people is a very hard task. Yes there was a "delay" in getting the coin out, but since one box was delayed with people that wanted to trade yes the coins took an extra day to get out and you should get your coins well in advance before your events. It takes a lot of time to get all those trades done. It is always fun working with Mark on these events. If you have any more complements or complaints please feel free to contact me at geohans@gmail.com. I for one am grateful for all the hard work Mark and all my employees did on this project.
Thanks
Hans

so did the Black and Purple versions actually go on sale?
Any help is appreciated.
Nope. Oakcoins is currently on vacation in New York... probably when they get back. It will be announced both in this thread and as a geoblast.
For those asking me for trades for the purple and black ones, I don't have any myself yet.
Only one of them is there. I also love your packaging. How did you know that I needed some?

With 2.51 which Wherigo carts are failing?

Im running the Beta now and having the same issues.
-
Here are a list of issues that I have seen so far having my Garmin Colorado 400t.
1. Wherigo crashed/shut down the unit running 2 different cartridges.
2. Light does not automatically turn on when plugging it to external power.
3. Unit hangs a lot turning on.
4. Street maps are not up to date with roads that have been around for years.
5. Street maps are off while driving.
6. When you mark a cache DNF I cant seem to find it so I can log a DNF.
7. When the unit is connected to a PC you cannot access the Shortcuts.
8. When marking a Waypoint then trying to go back in and looking at the location you cannot see the cords.
9. Cannot do an average while making a waypoint.
10. Recent finds does not update when you find or DNF a cache.
11. The mount doesn't stay on the windshield, it keeps falling off.
These are the First things that I can see that are issues for me. I do like the fact that you can have more then a 1000 caches though.
-
All you need to do is connect the Colorado to you PC and copy the GPX file to the Garmin\GPX folder. Then they will show up in your geocaching link. I loaded 4 gpx files that have 500 caches for a total of 2000. So it looks like you could have 1000s since it doesnt count them as waypoints. I have also had many issue with the unit right out of the box and would not recommend that you buy one until they fix a lot of bugs.

I tried 2 Wherigo cartridges here in Utah and both when I was at the location keep powering off my Colorado GPS. I could not complete the cartridge. Im not sure if it is a cartridge build or a Colorado problem.
