  1. Or how about this canadian one http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...12-dc02946651a3 That one is interesting, and the decoding part isnt that hard. A pretty good tie in. Grew up in ND, and if I am back in that area will have to take a crack at it. Thanks.... Vegas Cache was well thought out, and requires knowledge of song to "unlock", although finding it was very easy.
  2. An excellent "Jenny" (867-5309) cache when in Vegas is "GCJJFE" Was a really great set up....

  9. If you are looking for a ton of em, or maybe a group buy, try http://www.govliquidation.com/ (search "ammo can") you can get pallets of them dirt cheap... but you probably want to live near the base that they are located on to save on shipping a full pallet or two... LOL
  10. While this is not exactly what the poster was looking for, I do it this way. I click the check boxes on the search result page, and download them. Yep they are LOC files, but thats ok for now.... I open the loc file in GSAK, and ignore entering the state. Once they are in there, I can set GSAK in split mode and have the geocahing.com view on the bottom. If I like the chace I hit download GPX, and use open not save. By clicking yes, it will open and populate all the data for you. If a cache is not interesting, dont download the gpx... just delete it. Basically I use GSAK split view to read about the caches I selected, and with it open I dont have to save the gpx's, just populate the database. Dont know if that confusing or not?
  11. I did have to Google two of em.. so Does that count?????

  13. GCJJFE "Jenny" (Las Vegas, NV) Was a fun one. Once you got to the cache it was a locked electrical box on a Telephone pole. The box was locked with a tumbler style three digit lock. After a minute or so we realized the pole was numbered by the utility company.... guess what it was 8675.... Anyone want to guess what the combo was.... Go Tommy Tutone. With the low level of rain in the Nevada desert, oiling the lock was not really an issue. Also had another cache that was a locked box on a pole in the middle of the desert, but it required a key. The key turned out to be under a pile of fake dog doodoo.
