  1. Congrats!!!!! Looks like we have some pretty darned good company!
  2. Thanks for the opportunity to share a little of what our group, the USCGA, does. Win or lose, it's all fun, and it's nice to see the same support from groups all around!
  3. Our local group, the Upstate South Carolina Geocaching Association, has only been in existance for about two and a half years or so. In that time, our members have unselfishly held numerous CITO's, been featured in several newspaper articles, created geocoins, had travel-bug races, Christmas Light Virtual challenges, fund-raising events for local charities, as well as donated truck-loads of food, clothing, blankets, toys, shoes, toiletries, etc. to such charities as the Red Cross, Miracle Hill Ministries, local pregnancy, women's and children's shelters. Along the way, we promote the hobby of Geocaching in a positive way, encourage members, and then, on top of it all, have FUN at camping, paddling, disc-golfing, cook-off contests, baseball games, flash mobs, kiddie-caching events, and who-knows-what-else is on the horizon! Not too bad for a motley crew of folks who share the desire to revert to a childlike time and play hide-and-seek... With the motto, "No Dues, Just Shoes," we encourage all to come out, cache with a purpose, and share a smile!
  4. All this talk of goats...and logs...and psychos... Makes me homesick, I tell ya!
  5. With all due respect, I fail to see how going inside a nursing home and sharing compassion and time is an "agenda." It seems to me that the caching world could use a few random acts of kindness these days.
  6. This cache: 101 Dalmations # 2 is, by far, the very best indoor cache you will ever experience!
  7. AWESOME! WE (Hockeyhick and Cache-n-Kerry) look good!
  8. Two words... "Coin Envy"
  9. My wife keeps a casket under the house in the crawl-space...no lie! It's from her Grandfather's Halloween decoration collection. (She inherited the house) One day I'll drag that puppy out and use it!
  10. I'll bite! I have never won a coin-test in the forums before, so I'll guess... 360
  11. While I am prone to the out-house coins, it's a toss up because of my love of all that is Native American, I'm honored with the White Buffalo, and also am VERY happy to have the handmade Scavok!
  12. Just let your heart decide! Here are a few of ours... The ol' Ball and Chain My Road-trippin' hockeypuck (Notice that it has sat unmoved for nearly a year in the hands of a kid somewhere....) Megan's Geo-Diary Avery's soccer-ball
  13. I recieved a rather nice grouping of coins from my wife, Cache-n-Kerry and a few really cool friends (right, Rooksie?) Can you guess which is my favorite?
  14. This is a rather personal one. My Mom died when I was 16, and one of the things I remember most about her was this coffee cake: Ma Ma's Coffee Cake 2 cups raisins(seedless) 2 cups strong coffee 2 sticks blue bonnet margarine 2 cups sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. allspice 1 tsp. cloves 3 1/2 cups self-rising flour 5 eggs 2 cups pecans 1 tablespoon vanilla flavoring 1 greased & floured tube pan Cook raisins and coffee together until liquid is almost gone.Cream margarine with sugar. Add eggs, one a time. Add spices to flour, sift together. Gradually add flour and spices to margarine, sugar, and egg mixture. Mix altogether with a mixer. Add vanilla, nuts and raisins to mixture. Bake a 275* for 2 hours and 15 minutes. If you have a hot oven-you should check at the 2 hour limit
  15. Thanks Tokyo! and Thanks UOTracker! Hopefuly I got in on time!

  17. All are pretty cool! I prefer my audio disclaimer below...
  18. Check out the logs and images from my good river-friend, MSWahoo: Say CHEESE!
  19. While Meggie-Mae's team lost in the semi's, she won in that she now has this setting on the mantle in her bedroom!
