What an awesome display of cool tattoos!
Thanks!!!
Now, for something a little different, I wonder if I could do this:
-
Nope...I didn't go out today and get a new tattoo just for this contest.
Or did I?
-
As good as these puzzles were, I don't think that the answers should be released on the forums.
In my opinion, I think that the answers, (or more appropriately, *solutions*) should be handled in the same manner as the clues, i.e. in private emails.
That being said...it has been an awesome week!

Those are some pretty cool tat's!!!
I updated my original post with current photos....

Tattoos...I have 4, one for each year of my first four years of college. (starting in 1994, so they are all over 14 years old!)
Each one represents a small part of my personality.
I have Michigan J. Frog on my right calf, because I love obscure cartoons.
The other three I have were conceived and drawn by my own pen, and then stenciled and put to my skin by a really great shop in Augusta, Ga.
I have an original drawing of a cartoon parrot sipping a margarita atop the words, "Wasted Away" on my left shoulder, in honor of my parrots and my love of the works of Jimmy Buffett.
I have an original pen-and-ink sketch of a green-eyed tiger, in honor of my late Mom. (I wanted realism, not just coloring-book style)
But....the one I have on my stomach, yet another original drawing of mine, representing my huge affection for Bloom County/Outland/Opus/Penquins etc. is this one on my chest:
(My wife, Cache-n-Kerry isn't too crazy about it, but, in my defense, it was done pre-her...)

I don't deserve to win because I lied about all of that other stuff I said before...
...or did I?
-
I don't deserve to win because I am crude, crass, vulgar, shocking, innappropriate, abominable, awful, beastly, cloying, creepy, detestable, distasteful, foul, frightful, ghastly, gross, gruesome, hateful, hideous, horrid, horrific, icky, loathsome, lousy, monstrous, nasty, nauseating, nerdy, noisome, objectionable, obnoxious, odious, offensive, outrageous, repellent, repugnant, repulsive, revolting, rotten, scandalous, scuzzy, shameless, skanky, sleazebally, sleazy, stinking, surfeiting, vile, vulgar, yecchy, and just plain yucky.
I am *so* misunderstood.
Oh...and I absolutly HATE cointests...so THERE!!!

I have already done this in a private email, but I want to publicly thank Avroair for opening new channels of communication with my children and step-children.
This was a joint family effort, and I thank him for that.
We could all stand to learn from our children sometimes...

This one is pretty tricky. It is like hiding in plain sight.
All of the good ones are!
-
C'mon...don't give up!!!!
-
And easy as crow-pie (NOT!), I solved it...
By far, the best one YET!!!!!!!!
-
Yet another enlightening moment submitted...
-
I have made several guesses...now I need to start supper.
Is everyone enjoying this as much as me, in spite of not even SEEING a coin???

Danged double-post...

Seconde email sent to the Puzzle Master!
-
It's never too late, my friend!
-
Working on seven, as well...
-
Favorite words?
"Janus Thickey" just for the juvenile snickers I get when I say it fast...
"Rita Skeeter" for proving that there are rednecks everywhere...
and
"Bellatrix Lestrange" for the memory of someone I once dated for a night.
This has been an awesome time, and since I'll no doubt be at work when stage 7 is released, good luck to all!
-
WHO HOO!
Even with work and my general ineptness, I just turned in stage 6!
-
Email sent on stage 5....
-
Starting 5...
(pass the whiskey.)
-
Stage 4 answer just sent...
I'm beginning to think it may just be easier (and less stressful) to just buy the darned coin!!!
Just kidding...this is a blast!
-
FINALLY sorted out stage three, waiting on my clues to 4.
This is a most excellent journey!!!
-
Just sent in my hopefully correct answer for 3...Going to not even try 4 until tomorrow.
My head hurts and I need a stiff bourbon!

Wow!
Great stories!
Ours began in the late 90's. I was working as a radio engineer at an AM/FM combo in Greenwood, SC. Our station manager, knowing that my divorce was taxing on the body and the mind, offered me some tickets to see minor-league ice hockey in nearby Greenville, home of the ECHL Greenville Grrrowl. I decided, "What the heck?" and went. Knowing nearly nothing about the sport, I was amazed at the speed and strength of the players, and of the game itself. I quickly became friends with a group of best friends known as the Dog Pound, and soon became entrenched in helping maintain a web presence known as Grrrowlfan.net, as well as working with the booster club for the team. I needed a moniker for the forums, so since I was from the country, "HockeyHick" seemed suitable. As fate would have it, I wasn't the only one with the same pubescent sport knowledge. One of my new friends was a cute, also separated pretty female known to the Grrrowlfan.net world as "Hockey Virgin."
My world would never, ever be the same.
The rest of that story can be found here:
If you're scared...SAY you're scared!
Sadly, our hockey team folded a couple of years after our marriage, but at about the same time, we discovered Geocaching. We told many of our friends about the hobby, and soon began planning for the same type internet group for the Upstate South Carolina area. After meeting a few of our local cachers, the Upstate South Carolina Geocachers Association (USCGA) was born.
Kerry decided that she wanted a new moniker, and she thought about her Dad's job as a grocery-story manager during her youth, and her name, Kerry, and just put it together as such: "Cache-n-Kerry."
Now with a great group of friends both local and world-wide, we are truly living in a "Life-is-Good" world!
