I am working on a series of Ghost town Geocaches but someone has beat me to it for North Cache-Cadia. http://www.ghosttownsusa.com/geocaching.htm will take you to a site that the guys up in Okanogan county are working on and they were the ones I was getting some info from. Just my luck. I have Friday and Saturday off and have worked 10 days straight and now that its my weekend..........SNOW ! ! Oh well. It will give me a chance to fine tune the Ghost Towns that I have been working on. Have a great rest of the week and see you all soon.

I wont be able to go to the Wok due to an event at the airport. We are having a Memorial for the young men we lost in the plane crash last week. We are having a small dinner and dedicating a tree and plant for Eric and James. I look forward to the next event and to having dinner with everyone the next time. THanks Jon

In the coupon book from Stans Merry Mart in last nights [2/28] paper they have a hiking pole that telescopes from 26" to 54" for $11.88. I havent looked at them yet but it seems like a good deal. Just hope that it is strong enough to support me. J

Navigatorz, our Travel Bugs seem to have hit a desktop some where. He said he was gonna get them moving but they havent gone anywhere since 2/5. Oh well. Such is the luck of travela bugs. Congrats Robinego on 1000. I have a long way to go to catch up with all you guys. And i never get any time off from work. I sure hope that Mega ticket I bought pays off. J

Ghost Town...WINESAP has been publicized. It is s amall cache with a lot of goodies to get it started. There is an unactivated 2005 Washington Geocoin for the FTF if they want it. There is also a Canada coin but it is a TB so keep it moving if you take it. There are a couple of cars in the cache. Enjoy the history of the area. There are more of them in the works. If anyone has a ghost town they want to hide a cache in feel free to add your own ghost town to the list or let me know and I will do some history work on them and help get them listed. I went on a road trip today doing the new caches in the Entiat area and some ones I hadn't done in the Chelan area. Whilst I was looking for caches I hid one. And it isnt a micro. I am going to do a series on ghost towns in Cache-Cadia. So the hint is out there. Blue J

I live in Wenatchee Washington and on June 14th 2005 I attended a meeting of the Wenatchee Erratics, a local chapter of the Ice Age Flood Institute and at this meeting there was a handout regarding Bruce Bjornstad who is a Geologist from Batelle Northwest in the Tri Cities. It talked about areas he had recomended to go to and look at places that the Missoula Floods had carved out of the land in this area. A lot of the places he talks about have Geocaches hidden on them. The Geocaching.com website was listed on the handout and the next morning I went to the site and discovered a cache hidden so close to my house I could see it. I got my gps and went to Wells House and after searching for a long time finally found it. I WAS HOOKED ! I went back home and got the next closest coordinates and I have been searching the area since that day. I belong to the Cache-Cadians, our local chapter of WSGA. I am one of the members of the Cache-Cadians that have commited to 1 hide a month for the year and have 2 hidden so far this year. I have only 2 states under my belt so far but plan a trip to Boise this spring to add 2 more states. I attended the WSGA campout last year at Squillchuck and plan on attending this years at Chelan. I enjoy this hobby and look forward to many more finds this year. Thanks to TPTB at Groundspeak for the excellent job they do in aiding us in our endeavers in this craziness that we are all addicted too.

Thanks for all the congrats. It took longer than I thought it would. I need to win the lotto so i can quit having to go to this job that eats up all my hours. I hid a new Dr cache right after finding my 200th. Meeting all you people has been a lot of fun. Thanks again and I look forward to my next 200 finds.

I have a TB you can take to Austria with you. Are you flying out of here on Saturday or Seatac? If you are leaving from here I can give it to you at the airport Saturday. Another topic I thought we could work on for the get together is using HTML in setting up a cache page. A lot of the cache pages have cool pics and fancy diagrams and I cant seem to figure out how to make them look sharp so we could hae somone who knows how to make good looking cache pages give a talk.

It seems we have a new seeker out there. Who is Miss Terious??? Another Miss to tease us. Us guys area going to have to do something to have a fair fight.

I found Mr Gadget 2's new cache this morning. It was a liitle slick out there walking on the scrub and the rocks. I need to carry cache clothes so I dont freeze out there in my uniform. At least some cache friendly shoes. Good hide Mr G2. I had a good walk in the cool air.

I am getting a little nervous. We have had a couple of good hides in the valley in the last week or so but things have been too quiet regarding the Gadgets2. I get a little scared when Gene gets quiet and goes into the shop. I got to Down by the River about 2:30 in the afternoon. How late was I from being FTF? It was a good hide by the river but I didnt get a chance to look around alot. I was betweeen flights and had a real short amount of time to look. Talk to you all later. Blue J
