  1. Nice Idea! It makes it easier to find the active caches the cacher has hidden, if you like their hiding style. I will vote for it!
  2. Oh, and one more thing you could do is on this page select your state and click Placed as described in the previous post.
  3. I know this isn't really a notification, but from the home page under Search for geocaches click go. (this only works if you have home location)Next, on the top of the list of geocaches you should see the word Placed. It's in the 7th box from the left. Click Placed and you should see all the new caches including the events within a 25 mile radius. The events will be at the top. You could also create a pocket query(pocket queries)On the 3rd box from the left there is a link to a great video about making pocket queries. I hope this helps. If you have any questions feel free to ask. TheCacheSeeker

  6. I'm looking for a gps which has paperless caching, good reception, street maps(either free or included with the unit), color screen, easy to use and breadcrumbs. The price should be 200 and under. Any suggestions? Thanks.
  7. Fun topic. I'm sorry but I don't know how to do it.
  8. I'm thinking about the Magellan GC. I have some questions. How good is the satelite reception and accuracy? Is it easy to use and good for a new geocacher? (I have 27 finds) What maps are included or can I put into it for free? Other questions coming later... Thanks!
  9. paperless means that you can load the cache descriptions (in a GPX format availible only for premium members) into your GPS from the computer using programs such as GSAK. Hope this helps.
  10. Welcome to geocaching!
  11. how do you delete an idea in the feedback forum?
  12. Nope, I don't have that right now. The other day, I forgot when, a family member's account had that, I think. But their account doesn't have it anymore. I suggest posting this in the report a problem forum.Report a problem forum Edit: to include link
  13. I see you are a premium member. You could do a pocket query and search for "nightcache" attribute or "recommended at night" attribute. Hope this helps.

  15. yes the reviewer knows this. The cache won't be published. He/She will let us know so we can move it.
  16. Hi, There's a GPS forum:http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showforum=11 And a helpful thread: What GPS should I buy? I hope these help.
  17. Why not post this idea in the feedback forum?
  18. I was planning to attach a piece of wood to it. That should do the job.
