cool! I'm excited!

You apparently had a "Future Publications" alert set. That is a Platinum feature that was apparently temporarily activated for you by some freakish accident.
really?
I knew you were going to ask that.
how?
Can't say. Sorry, but an oath is an oath.
What else could it be?

Don't forget to add the tools required attribute.

I suggest taking a bike and some friends along. Don't forget plenty of water, snacks, food. These can go into a fanny pack or small backpack. Have fun!

It doesn't matter when in 2013 it would expire. The Mayans tell us the world is gonna end in December 2012 anyway.
Who said the Mayans are correct?

What do you do when you don't have a paperless gps and need to go caching? I like to get the important info of the page to paste it on Word so I can print a bunch of info at once. What do you do?

It's also not the only alternate site.
Correct!! I strongly support another "alternative" Geocaching website, which ironically enough, is also named "Opencaching". Don't even get me started on Garmin using that name 5 years after it was first used.
Opencaching.com came online in early December 2010. Then 4 months later, they came up with the amazing new feature of being emailed when someone finds your cache. They are still working on the totally unheard of feature of putting links on your cache page, or uploading pictures to the website.
EDIT: Oh, almost forgot, they've had full page Glossy ads in the last two issues of Outside Magazine, which has 700,000 subscribers, and must have cost them a bundle of money. Opie the squirrel is definitely serious about taking on Signal the frog.
don't forget that they also came up with this feature of editing and deleting logs too.

On the bottom of the topics page, where it says XX Members are browsing the forums, with the list of members below it, why are some members name "italicized"?
thanks
Italics?? - i've never seen. Moderaters are bolded.
Got some examples??
Here's an example:

When is personalization coming back to the geocaching.com google maps?
Got any idea? Why is personalization unavalible?
Thanks for answering these questions,
Zdeng15014
Personalization is currently unavailible on the weekends because there is too great of a load on the servers at the lilypad. It'll probably be back on the weekdays. Hope this helps.

In my area, lock and locks usually get moist and smelly. It really depends on the weather conditions to determine whether a container is good or not.
-
NO, the intent of virts is to take you to a nice place. If you're not going there, then what's the point?

My favorite is Duck, Duck, Goose! Neat puzzle and easy cache with an cool container that has plenty of goodies in it.

Anyone notice how since the L&F party it's become trendy to refer to GS as "The Lillypad"? I know they call themselves that, but now I see it popping up in the forums and in casual conversation. Too funny. It's like when you were in school and the cool kid made up a new word and everyone else started using it.
well, lilypad is a nice name. It sort of fits because signal lives there, and frogs usually live on lilypads.
btw: love your avatar

I'm going to meet a Lackey at a CITO. Does that count? Please?
NO they are called Lackeys for a reason.
SS
NO I found out that THREE Lackeys are attending the CITO. Please, it must count. I'm feeling a bit left out.

They don't like chickens? Probably Because the chickens might hurt the hamsters.
