  4. At the bottom of the Search for Geocaches page, there is a checkbox that says Highlight Beginner's caches. With this explaination: This was released this morning. I'm not seeing it. By the Search For Geocaches page, you must mean something other than this: http://www.geocachin...ek/default.aspx After you search, there is a checkbox at the bottom of the results page that you can use to toggle the "beginner" highlighting on and off. Gotcha... thanks! At the top of the page, it says, "Beginner caches are highlighted in green below". I see yellow, and pale yellow, not green, and the pale yellow ones are not exactly beginner friendly from what I can see. Actually, pale yellow is your owned caches, I believe.

  11. I meant puzzle final ( the actual container). Sorry for any confusion caused.
  12. Have you ever accidentally found a puzzle final without solving it? Someone did that to my brother's cache while that person was looking for a trail to a nearby cache.
  13. Muggles are a nickname for non-geocachers, which usually know nothing about the game. What wary of muggles means, is that you should be careful not to attract them so they won't try to steal the cache after you leave. Have a wonderful first find, and welcome to the forums!
  14. Yes, just take it off. It's not necessary to have that to hide the cache. Chinese food take out containers don't sound like they're sturdy enough to be watertight. Try ammo cans, or lock and locks.
  15. which park? lord hill? yep. I'm curious, where did you hear that ticks lived there?
  16. I love climbing trees, and I would like to hide a tree climbing cache. Any feedback or advice?
  17. I tried asking in the northwest forum: http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=278987

  19. I don't know, but I hope not. i also despise these horrible ticks.
