Hey Mr. Morris We try to head out early on Fridays to cache. Pat and I both have Fridays off work, but I have to be back to town to pick up my daughter by about 6. I am hoping to get out to Dragonfly by maybe 9-10 a.m. There is another area up there I want to hit for possibly placing a cache..have to check it out a bit more. Jaimee

Hey..I just thought of something that could be very fun! I think that we should do a "girls versus boys" cache hunt. The guys could hide one for the gals to find..the gals could hide one for the guys to find. We women are in the minority, but I don't think that matters if you consider the amount of smarts that we have compared to men So, whaddya say; any of you fellas up for a challange of this sort?? We didn't go back tonite cuz it was getting dark..but I will return! Actually, I think I am going to gather some female friends and then have ourselves a little picnic in the middle of the dang lake! Dragonfly is next on the list of repeat caches. That is the only one that I have not been successful at after 2 visits. I think I will take my daughter since she seems to have a knack with rocks. Friday is looking good for Dragonfly and a few others I have been eyeballing. Jaimee

Hey all Whew..we made it! Okay, this could be a saga, so here goes. We first stopped at Tomaski's Big Island cache. We walked up the trail....down the trail...up the trail...trying to figure out how on earth to get to where we needed to be. We figured out what we thought was the right way..took that approach...only to discover it was pretty much a dead-end. On the way out, I started to slip on a leg. I am totally not a gymnast, and I think that someone needed to be a balance beam expert to get out of this without falling! Well, guess what?? Yep, you got it..I fell! I started to slide, held the GPS up in the air so it wouldn't go for a swim..and I thought "Whew..I made it." WRONG..I biffed right on my butt. I had on jeans and tennis shoes, and they were pretty well soaked. We finally got out of there, walked around a bit trying to figure out another route, and actually went back through the first area. After a bit,we gave up on that one. I was wet enough and we had several more caches in mind. We pulled into the parking lot to look for the Morris' new ones, Tomaski's new ones, and to look for Good Luck once again. As we parked, Pat said "That's George's van." Nope..I knew it wasn't. It was that dang Tomaski! He beat us And I was SO looking forward to that Baskin-Robbins prize! Well, we met up with Tomaski and clan at Fern Gully. I wanted to be mad at him, but then I saw he had his family with him, and it was then impossible to be mad cuz his girls are sooooo cute! Take bug spray when you visit this one..mosquitoes were thick. Okay..the best part..drum roll please...WE FOUND GOOD LUCK!! Pat found it first. I had my hand right over the top of it and moved on to somewhere else. But..it is done..we did it. We also found Michael Jr's cache and Kevin's other one out there. We had a nice walk..and it was a fun day. Oh..we also placed one while we were out..almost forgot about that one. Now, on to the other comments. Tomaski is joining the Alliance also?? I am thinking that calling you guys Dalliance would be much more appropriate!! So, does anyone have my back against these scoundrels??? I am feeling very alone here. Poor, poor LO Okay..off I go to post. I shall check in later to see how many congrats I have on Good Luck! Jaimee

I had been having all of these really odd things happen that I felt were pointing me in the direction of pursuing a teaching career, and they came out to hunt for GiddyUp right in the middle of that. I was quite surprised to learn they were both science teachers as this just added to my list of strange happenings that I felt were leading me somewhere (they aren't strange..the happenings were). Only about 15 more minutes till I get to go caching with my new GPS! I hope, hope, hope, hope we can have some GOOD LUCK today! jaimee

The look on his face is PRICELESS when you find a cache before him!!!!!!!! I am really looking forward to the get-together. I have met several of the folks that will be there, but I think it will be fun to meet the rest of you! I will not be there right at the start because I have a math event to go to. Actually, that is probably for the best. If I arrive early and find something before Ron, the whole day will then be ugly. We read the clue on Good Luck..then read it again..and again..and again. I am telling ya, we were all over that area. With 6 of us looking, I am just baffled as to how we couldn't find the cache, especially since we zero'd out in pretty much the same area. I kinda thought we were pretty decent cachers, but now I am beginning to question that idea! I forgot to mention something about that area. Be very careful walking near the down slopes. I just about tumbled down the hill. When looking at the ground, it seems to be pretty level and even, but there is one spot with a huge hole that could cause someone a bunch of hurt if they hit just right! Back on the clue topic...we found one of what was described in the clue..and that was not the correct "one" obviously. I guess maybe we need to take a different approach when we head out there today. Off to school I go..and then off to Good Luck I go! Jaimee

I am of the impression now that the words "Good Luck" is somehow related to finding the cache. I rcvd an email from someone who said those words several times..and I noticed the Morris' also used the words several times. Could be totally off and just confusing myself worse also! At least if we go out today, it will give me a chance to christen my new GPS unit! Hopefully today will be a better day than last weekend. I felt super lame after not being able to find those "easy" caches! Funny how one person can walk right up to a cache and others just circle around like idiots and never find it, huh?? Hey all Pat just bought me my own GPS unit today!! We had been sharing (I guess you could call it that) and it was quite hard to do because neither of us really likes to play follow the leader. It will be interesting now to cache together and see what differences we get in the readings. Wow..more folks found Good Luck and said it was easy. I agree with George..we missed something. I think we might go back out to that area tomorrow since it is staying light so much later now. Hopefully we can "unbump" our heads and find it this time. I am back in study mode now, so maybe my brain will work better. I think I was just soooo wore out last weekend after having to help Ron out last week! I hope everyone has a great week! Jaimee
