  1. just got mine today and i think they look great! I must add however, i stabbed myself deeply wiht one of the staples trying to get it out of the baggie...
  2. I had something similar happen when out caching to a Tungsten T5 I was borrowing... Luckily it fell out of my pocket at the median and when we managed to backtrack to it, we found it perfectly intact
  3. E-mail sent, hopefully there are a few of these still left to order :-)
  4. I thouhgt the people living south had to attend also to join. At least that what i was told...
  5. oops i clicked on the avatar also. I think it's one of those compulsive actions like where it says don't push button, so you have to.
  6. I'm close behind so I'll be up there in another week or two(if weather is bad) Better Have that Tom Kelly 2006 Hummer II ready for me when I make it though Although If i take it caching, I'll be filing bankrupcy the next week.
  7. yeah but just think of all the fat cats in carmel and fishers that would buy it from my if i marked it down a few grand? I think at worst I should get a geocoin also lol
  8. hey shadow when was the last drop of the coins?
  9. I have 185 though... It's a shame three finds before the poor house wasn't the 10,000th find... Then it could have been 10,000 finds and my 50th FTF
  10. after completing the red herring and moving on to the next revealed codes... all i can saw is... *<CENSORED>* looks like gibberish to me at the moment... maybe as i get the last few pieces, the puzzle will reveal itself(pun intended)
  11. So far the worst I've gotten have been bumps and bruises and maybe a few scratches here or there... I must not have a reaction to poison plants, but my wife sure did get a big rash this summer after a few of my geo-outings. And the day before Thanksgiving I attempted Jordan I bundled up a little too warmly for my 150-200 ft craw through a sewer drain and ended up sweating and shaking very badly once i reached the cache container. After exiting the pipe, I could barely stand. I pretty much had to drag myself back to my vehicle. of course it's 3 days later and I'm just now able to walk down the stairs without a lot of pain in my upper legs. No Real injuries though... Knock on wood(or knock my head on a Shelter Beam)
  12. you use only the letters segment.... for example if your coin was EUVDRT-0001 you would enter EUVDRT on the find a travel bug page, then log it just like a normal TB does that help?
  13. oh my... it sounds terribly difficult... Well actually it sounds like fun, but I have no clue of even where to start...
  14. they're not lame micros... They're parkNgrab. But unless I feel very uncomfortable searching for a cache I don't consider it a "lame" cache. as per Webster's Lame 3. Weak and ineffectual; unsatisfactory. Weak maybe, ineffectual? nah. unsatisfactory? I just enjoy the hunt, I personally don't mind caches hidden under lampposts or whatnot... The first time i came across those it took me two days to figure out.
  15. not the one between the runways, although the one i'm talking about is still only 1000-1500 feet from one of the runways... I'm not sure how i could place it as an offset that would fit in as a spirit quest.

see ya for lunch on Saturday Mark :-)
  17. that's pretty interesting.... But I have an ISQ in mind that would be "Worse than a horse thief" well i should rephrase it... the Woman whose first husband was worse than a horse thief and sparked Lord Dunmore's War. the only problem is that it's out by the airport and isn't likely to be approved. oh yeah and he headstone is no longer there either also kinda puts a hamper on my grand opus.. But i do know that she was buried there, i believe Headstone hunter has a picture of what the stone was, and i have Geneaology information on the woman(my greatX8 grandmother) plus the cemetery has 4 civil war veterans and a war of 1812 vet too...
  18. Cornerstone, feel free to come out to Indiana to drop that one off :-)

if you get a reply e-mail from him you could always teach him how to log a travel bug. It looks like he hasn't logged in since october, according to his profile, he lives in greenwood, tell him that if he can't find time for caching, there are a few cachers around here that would probably be willing to meet up with him to grab the TB and get it moving again.
  20. er... wouldn't those in fact be MSQs? But I gotta admit It's a great formula and really makes the caches relevent from a Historical & educational standpoint.
  21. question about the great view requirement Can we use earthcaches forthat that require you to post a picture if we maybe write coin quest and our name and include it in the picture? or does that requirement need to be with a physical cache?
  22. most ISQs i've ever done in a day was 30 on october 2nd, so i don't think i made the list :-) you don't have to add me, 30 doesn't stand up to any of the other one day totals.
  23. I thought the coords were the location of the narrows bridge, which is located on the back on the coin. But either way, The coin is not trackable as Team Shydog stated.
