  1. Why do disabled caches come up by defult in pocket quaries? I know I can check the box to only show enabled caches, but I don't see why the disabled ones are shown by defult.
  2. They played a promo on the MacCast. Once I finish listning to that, I'll check out the Podcacher. Looks interesting.
  3. First, you will need some hosting. Any image upoladed to a cache page is hosted on img.geocaching.com. If you have an ISP, chanches are they have a hosting package. Bravenet also offers free hosting. Then, you find the link of the image that is uploaded online, and use the IMG button to enter the location.
  4. I think this could discourage some good caches. I am fine with the current permium membership program. If you want to support the game, you can; if you don't want to, you don't have to.
  5. http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=190327 What's with this? It's past June 6th.
  6. It would be neat if we could see who's watching our caches, maybe as a premium feature. Why are the list of who's watching kept a secret?
  7. Does it have a working sound system?
  8. Help! The Mobipocket server is down, and I can't install the program on my Palm IIIx I got on eBay. Can anyone post another place to get the program?
  9. The approver just changed our cache. I guess it is not that much trouble.
  10. Because people were abusing their ability to change the cache type and circumventing the approval process to create virtuals after first listing them as traditional caches, I never thought of that!
  11. In our situtation, the first stage was a flag pole that has been removed. We would like to still have the micro at the last be accessable, though.
  12. When we convert a multi cache to a traditional cache, why do we need to contact a reviewer to do it for us?
  13. I can't even get it to load after multiple refreshes now.
  14. Whenever I have been finding a bunch of caches, they are usually close to each other. I think it would be nice if there was a "closest to last cache logged" button to run a search right from the page you get after you log. I like the buton to put in the Waypoint, but it is much easier for me to just do a nearest search. Thanks!
  15. Can you compress multiple images at a time with theses other programs?
  16. I downloaded Google's free Picassa program, and it is great for photo editing. I have also found that it is a wonderful recourse for compressing pictures you wish to put in a cache log. When in Picassa, you can quickly import pictures from your digital camera, and then click the Export button. It automatically compresses the file or files you have selected, and makes your large Digital Camera files compatible with posting to the Geocaching gallery. This program is espically useful when you have multiple pictures to post.
  17. Life working on Eagle, 14 years old! Good luck on your Eagle!
  18. How do you use RSS in Firefox? My blog always had a RSS button, but I didn't know what it was for.
