Just after I had rationalized no problem, I had an issue yesterday. Pulled into parking and was about 140 feet away. Just to check I pulled out the 60 and it showed the same. Shortly thereafter, the etrex was showing .23 while the 60 held steady. Batteries were about done on the etrex so I shut her down and used the 60 to find. But, not sure there isn't a problem, need some weather out of the 20's to get in the field and really test.

When I first got mine about three weeks ago, I was wondering the same thing. But after using it awhile am not having any problems. Though it does seem to take longer to settle than my GPS60 did. By the time I sign log and rehide it is usually reading single digits.

I didn't see anything on the web site beyond 256, though I know there are 512 cards available, am looking for more than the 32 I got with the legend as I want to get at least the NE corridor from CT to DE loaded for this summer. Currently Western CT and Orlando to Daytona FL has the 32 filled though I don't need the FL part anymore, but also did'nt see any info on memory card mgt, delete maps, memory available, etc... thought I haven't looked in mapsource yet.

I bought everready 15 minute charger and some 2300's a couple of weeks ago. Then bought some duracell 2500's. Recharge time has been as advertised and haven't changed the batteries yet and did alot of caching and navigating the last week with a Legend cx. Little experience but lmpressed with the products.

Had a good weekend despite the rain, think we hit seven each day in less that three hours total, tough to do that up here. Will close this tomorrow, Thanks for the help?

I'll be in Florida. New Symyrna Beach, from Connecticut, for my father's 80th birthday the first weekend of February. Am looking for good caches in that area that I can drag my three brothers and the old man along on. And also anything between Orlando airport and there that I can do without muggle baggage. I have almost all the stuff I need (yea some of it is 30 years old), now I need time, understanding that the jones needs to be fed and someone to do yardwork. In addition, the kids could forget multi-mile wrong turns and "100 steps" (though they love to talk about it afterwards, they are afraid the next one will be a repeat). Merry Xmas!
