  1. I just went to the geocaching map feature and was sad that you don't have the caches listed beside the map like you had in the outdated version. It was so easy to print the page with map and list of geocaches so that you had a handy map to see all the caches in that area. It has helped newbies visualize how many and where caches are. I also miss the left toolbar but will get used to the drop down tabs - one more step to get where I want to go. When I go into the Groundspeak store, besides backtracking, how do I get back to www.geocaching.com? It would be nice to have a link getting me back to the main site from any page. Besides that, thanks for making geocaching so easy, it is such a fun sport. I am grateful for all the energy that goes into making this site work.

  4. Hey, I just tried to look some caches (GC1hrw2, 1hviv, 10nc5) via geocaching.com google map. The map comes up but there are 0 caches displayed. This was going through Firefox 2.0.0.18 on a Windows XP system. I am in South Korea if that matters. Is there a problem with the new Firefox update? I checked it on IE and everything was ok and working. TFTH(elp)
  5. You will have to enter the second set of coords as a waypoint(Mark Waypoint). I mark my present spot as a waypoint and then touch save and edit. Then I correct the coords to the next waypoint by touching change location. When you get to the East or West coords you have to touch the E or W and then touch the arrows to continue (I only add that because it took me awhile to figure out how to change those coords.) If there are better ways to do this I would love to hear about them too. Does this help?
  6. (This normally retails at $499)I ended up getting 2 GPS's at once, so I'm letting one go. This is NIB, never opened, just waiting for you. Don't let this pass you by.
  7. It's still $375...good luck finding a brand new for that.
  8. is it still for sale? It is still for sale...I didn't get any replies initially so I'm putting it on ebay. Let me know by Monday early a.m. if interested...still $375.

  13. And what purpose is being served when you replace a perfectly good map with one of lesser quality? I'm referring to the map above the attributes. I guess my biggest complaint is the zoom level is off. All you can see is the red pin. It would be nice if the zoom went out to region/country. Now, I have no idea where in the country the cache is. I have to go to another map to get an idea of where the cache is. (To zoom out to where I need to see it, it's too far out. I get the message, "Adjust zoom level to view caches.) I REALLY did like seeing where in relation to Seoul city center the cache was placed. It's one or more steps in the process....not an improvement.
  14. The new google map doesn't work for viewing caches more than 15 miles apart, which is the way it is where I live. I miss the list of caches shown on the map also. Bring back the maps that actually were user friendly!!! PLEEEAAASSSE OH PLEASE

    google maps

what has happened to google maps?? It's been a few weeks since I've logged in but I can't navigate in it now. I live in South Korea. It's not useable from here!!!
  16. I loved the new Google Map features with several caches listed, but what happened to it? When I go to Google maps (through a cache) there is a fatal error and I am booted off the internet. Will this be fixed soon? I already miss the new map features.
