Wherever you go there you are.
Exuse my ignorance, but what's this snow stuff you speak of? Is it something like tall grass??

After 1000 I got back on the bike. I'm still finding them but it's become a choice of going for a cache or riding 40 miles on the bike. With work and kids eathing all other time, I've been jumping on the bike.
But it's summer time, and school's out. I have one week before I start teaching summer school and I'd like to find a 100 or more this week.

I hade the cache as I found it. If every cacher hid it better than they found it, how long would it be before a level 2 hide became a level 4 or 5 hide?
The only excepetion is if I find the cache much easier than the rating suggests.

1) Caches hidden in Ivy.
2) People who complain that a cache is too hard or dangerous.
3) I forget what 3 was for
4) People who want to ban what they don't like instead of just skipping those types.

3) If you go back there, you won't find another couple having sex.
See the difference?

I would have. There are communites in urban areas that have to deal with the situation. Discarded condoms and dark corners with prostitutes servicing the johns. But in my almost 2 years of geocaching, I have yet to come across the situation. Now, public parks that have been overrun by perves, I now know where a few of those are, and can spot them almost as soon as I drive into the parking lot.
What was your point exactly? You think it's ok for these gay men to take over public parks? You don't think they should get a room?

So, if I go back to that spot will I find more hetro's copulating? Can I go back to that spot and find some random woman to jump in the bushes with? Or was that a one time occurance and the odds of stumbling upon the same situation in that same spot are close to zero.
This discussion is about cruzing areas in public parks and how they effect geocaching.
If you know of a heterosexual cruzing spot, please post it because I have yet to find one in a public park and I know people who would like to visit.

Are you describing homosexuals as people who have random sexual encounters in public places. If I was homosexual I'd be pretty ****ed at you. I considered that an aberation of homosexual lifestyle and wonder why you want to paint the whole comunity with such a broad brush? Do you think that little of the group?

That's the point. I really don't care if you want to do this stuff but when you're in my public park then I get a say. If you get a room or you're in your house, then I don't get a say.

What kind of arugument is that? That's like saying you can't quit smoking because if you could you would have by now. Well, people do quit smoking and people do quit deviant behavior. But no one is going to feel the pressure to quit when you have so many people perfectly willing to give up their public parks to these people.
I have 3 caches in areas that fit into this category and I put full warnings on the cache pages that people should not bring their kids to hunt the caches. In those logs for the caches people have been propositioned, they've stumbled upon caches of porn, they've found naked guys with tool in hand who couldn't wait for anyone.
Where are they going to go? Get a room, as simple as that. Hell, park your car in a back alley industrial area where you're not likely to find families going to have a picnic.

Homophobia? Do you consider the behavior outlined in this discussion as typical homosexual behavior? Do you think that the behavior displayed (literally) by these men in these parks represents the entire gay community? Maybe you do but I don't.
We're talking about specific behavior in PUBLIC areas. We geocache in public areas. There is an overlap. One of these behaviors destoys public parks for family activites. One does not. Which one do you deffend?

Or you can take the blacklight and make it a travel bug so people can use it by find the bug in another cache.

listservers are nice and easy way to get info out.
We use topica for ride announcments and it works well enough. Topica gets mistaken as span by some email servers so not everyone can use it but if marky has the server it sounds like the way to go.

I've done one cache entirely filled with schwag. There is an annual bike festival/race/demo/event in Monterey, CA. Every bike bike company gives away schwag, key chains, patch kits, coozies, beach balls, thumb wrestlers, water bottles. I just collected a cache load and placed it out on the rec area for people to find.
