You know, I have to say, having recently sold my coin: If I had it to do over, I wouldn't have. I would have instead minted 100, and traded. I love my coin, and selling it did pay for them. But I think I would have been just as happy with traders only. I would have missed my fantastic icon, but if I mint another coin next year, it will be for trade and caches only.

I got my Anthus coin I traded for today, with delivery confirmation on it!

I just got my coin, and so far have dropped 2 unactivated ones. I've got 10 more that I'm going to be placing in really good caches.

What about Canada? Do they need customs forms?

I recently had a sale fall through on the MustangJoni silver coins. I'm putting 10 of them up for sale. I will have a few for trade, but not until GW4 is over. I opened up sales on CoinTracking for these coins. http://cointracking.com/view_series.php?sid=245

As did I. You know it strikes me odd that we auction coins off for charity to help families in need, we as a community do this becasue we care about one another. Instead of rushing to ask for our money and auctioning coins to donate for the cause why can't we as a community just donate a portion of the funds she already has??? I agree with that. I already wrote her last night and told her to keep mine. It is the last thing I'm worried about. LC and her family are in my prayers, and I hope things get better for her. I'm sure she would appreciate all the support she can get right now.

I do mine like Geo*Trailblazers 1, but I put velcro cicles at the top because when I started using it that way, some of my coins would fall out.

You may already know, but MustangJoni coins are here. They arrived at my house on Saturday. I was out most of the weekend, but started packaging Monday after work and mailing on Tuesday. The packaging is going slow! LOL – I just want to make sure each package is secure and none of the coins are going to get loose in the envelopes. I want to give them the best chance of making it to their destinations! I’ve gotten about 60 packages out so far. Also, when I got the coin, they just came with clear plastic flips. I thought there would be a card with the place to retrieve activation codes (note for next - time that is a question you should ask! LOL). So I put in each package a card with that information, but for anyone who I may have missed, the activation code retrieval site is: www.oakcoins.com/activate . Okay folks, the MustangJoni coins are almost ready! I’m thinking that I will get them next week, and all I have to do is put them in envelopes, so the process shouldn’t take long. I have a slight change in my distribution plans. I just found out that I’m going to be unemployed by the end of the month, so I’m going to have to sell more of my coins than I originally planned. I had ordered 20 shiny gold coins for me to keep for special trades only. I’m going to let 17 of them go. I’m going to sell them for $12. This includes shipping. When I did my original sale, I bought postage and envelopes, so I’m all good there. Unfortunately, I’m not going to be able to do trades on these as originally planned.
