  2. I got really lucky on my pix, perfect shot through a magnifing glass. All the others had a reflection of the flash. Please consider voting for it. Thanks http://www.geocaching.com/track/log.aspx?l...4e-b41cde32bcb4 It's on page 7 - second row, photo named "Discover Jeep"
  3. The submitted pictures for the contest only show up to Aug 4th. Do they only post pictures once a week?
  4. I'm sorry my bad thought u were talking about jeep gallery
  5. My Pix has not showed up either, I'm thinking Jeep needs to download or something because it has only til Aug 4 on line. Not really fair when voters keep seeing same ole pix. i thought it was because of the weekend, but I guess not.
  6. We were in France in early June, we only hit one cache, we attempted others, but didn't search because our language was limited and we were in an area where many do not speak English. We were basically afraid we'd be shot or thrown in jail. I reasearched the caches I thought might be fairly easy by using www.geocaching-france .com, they have an interactive map look for "outils" then geo-carto then consulter la carte ici. This took me to the area we were traveling. My GPS is an Garmin e-trex and it worked fine, I didn't have to load anything. I took 5 bugs and a geocoin and all have been picked up, it took a while for the finders to log because of internet access. Good Luck, the French are very nice contrary to popular belief. Have fun!
  7. Why doesn't the Official Geocaching Web Stite have any mention of the Jeep Contest, last year there was information & a link?
  8. I order official Geocaching items like stickers, magnets, patches, pins etc.
  9. There's a great cache in Savannah, Georgia called Famous Neighbors http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...06-41dd6b4be9a8 It's a wonderful, fun cemetery cache, one of my all time favorites The puzzle (offset cache) is not about the famous people buried there, but about the people buried next to them and their complaints about noise and things visitors do. check it out!
  10. Wow, I do the state maps, but good lord it can take hours, thats when I usually find a city along route and find a cache, thank you!
  11. I have a Garmin e-trex Legend C.. any hints?
  12. I have been trying to figure out for months how in the world people do this.... I have even joined premium membership, but if I'm traveling from state to state is there an easier way to find caches along the way besides thinking of cities in route and entering the zip or going to a city along route and following the "view" map which takes a long time? Can anyone tell me an easier way?
