  1. Thanks for that reply. Glad to know I'm not alone (although 2 hours seems rather extreme!). Do you mind if I ask where I might find the feedback forum? I think I found it once, but can't remember where it is. Thanks.
  2. Hi there, Sorry if this has already been discussed, or if it is in the wrong place, but I was wondering whether anyone else has had this problem: I recently bought an HTC Wildfire and was getting 5-6 days between charges with my battery. I then installed the official Groundspeak Android app and suddenly I'm getting just over 2 days between charges. When I check out the battery use, it was saying that system standby and so on were using most of the battery, now it says Geocaching is using 96% of the battery! I have only opened it once so far to see what the app was like, but it seems that it uses the battery even if I'm not using the application. Is there a setting I haven't found which will stop this happening (I have tried to look and found nothing), is everyone else having the same problem, or am I just lucky(!)? Many thanks, Galena_uk
  3. Whew, thanks! I hoped that was the case, but thought I'd just check in case I was transgressing an unwritten rule! G
  4. Ok, I thought I'd ask this as I'm a little unsure about etiquette. When searching for a cache I try to keep my eyes open for muggles and stop looking when there are muggles around, etc. When I find a cache (hasn't happened often as yet!), what do I do? Do I open it there and sign the log/swap some swag or should I move away and carry on hiding from muggles? The first cache I found was a small lock and lock box on a fairly busy footpath. I managed to extract it without being muggled, but should I then have moved away or was it ok to sit on the bench and sign the log, etc while muggles walked past, before concealing it again without being observed by muggles? I wouldn't want to have taken it away when someone else was looking for it - and if I was to stay completely out of sight of muggles I'd have had to have gone a fair distance away. Sorry if this is a bit garbled - I'm tired, but needed to check whether I've been naughty! Thanks, Galena, MrGalena and GalenaMini
