  1. I would like to buy one. Please count me in. This is a wonderful way to honour him, great idea. grodan Karin
  2. The coin has hopefully gone to production, now to wait for progress. I hope to get it to Sweden before easter but then it will have to be shipped to US again so you will most likely get it after easter. Still a few left if anyone wants to be put on the list. Just let me know. Thanks. grodan Karin
  3. Pleased to hear it, as - as it now stands it is an exlusive mission. (ie. excludes non- US members of this community from joining in) That sounds great. I like missions and try to join when I can. grodan Karin
  4. I have sent in the order and paid for it today. I haven´t heard back yet (timediff) but I guess they go to production next week. I will send out the invoices once I have the coins in hand. I will post the progress here to keep you all informed. Thank you. grodan Karin
  5. Trying again to get rid of these kangaroos. A set of 3 coins: gold/brown with green/red parrot 75 made nickel/transcluent brown with green/red parrot 50 made copper/greyglitter with green/red parrot 75 made Price for the 3 coinset with shipping and postage $ 35 Price per coin for 1 or 2 coins with shipping and postage $15 Send me an email through the profile if you are interested or have questions. PMs never seem to work for me. Thank you for your time. grodan Karin
  6. Hmm, seems they will be expensive anyway, the dollar verses Swedish crown is not very good right now so I will have to set the coin to $15. I don´t know the shipping yet since I don´t know how heavy the coin is but shipping for one coin should stay at $5. That makes a coin including shipping and handling for $20. I hope you find it worth the money an reserve one. Facts: 75 made, own icon, GF prefix, no remint Here is also a picture of final artwork. The name Jessica Börjesson is the name of the girl who owns the picture and she wanted that on the coin if I was going to use her picture. I didn´t think it matter so that is ok with me. Lets just pretend it is the name of the girl on the front. Thanks. grodan Karin
  7. The order has been sent in, I decided to make 75 of these. That means it will not be all that costy that I thought from the start but I will know first after I paid. There are still some extras if someone wants to make a reservation. Just send me an email through the profile. grodan Karin
  8. Could not resist this mission. I like easter and eggs and chickens and "påskkärringar" (easterwitches) I have sent in the form and waiting for confirmationmail. grodan Karin Sign-up: feb 22 Name received: Package sent: Package received: I collect animalshaped coins and food/beverageshaped coins but I am not picky. Any gifts are nice gifts. I haven´t bought many coins the last year and I try to activate my keepers so you can take a look in my profile to see what coins I have. I don´t have a seekinglist but I could always list a few: Sea of treasure (tsun), Andy the squirrel (Ernies), The sheep Edeltraude with "fur" on it and some others as well. grodan Karin
  9. Thank you. I am not sure what you mean with those lines should be too tiny? The back will be as if you are looking at the moon from behind so there will not be much other than the moon and the feet and broom pointing out. The needed trackable info and number will be there ofcourse and the text grodan & fiabus, Glad Påsk 2011 and also the name of the girl that drew the original picture I am building the design on. There will not be many made of this coin so that is why it will be expensive in dollar measured. In SEK the cost is most fair. Hope you all will like it and buy it anyway. Cost is probably higher on other places, like that eplace for example. grodan Karin
  10. Hi! Thank you for the link about easdtertraditions here is another one. http://www.nordicway.com/search/Sweden/Sweden_Easter%20Traditions.htm Here you can read about eggs and easter. The girl on the coin is not a witch, she is a påskkärring. That means a kid dressed up as a witch and now she is off to find some candy and give away some eggs. Notice her cat, see how scared he is to fall down the broom. The easterbunny is more of an american tradition I think and I know little about that. We think more of chickens for easter. I haven´t decided how many coin to make yet and that is why I don´t have a price yet but I will tell as soon as I know. Hope you will like the coin. I think it will turn out nice. Email sent back to you who sent me one. grodan Karin
  11. Congrats to you all new receivers of this nice coin. That pink colour looks really nice. grodan Karin
  12. I am working on a Eastercoin for the swedish coiners and thought I should share it with you people in here too. It will be in BN only and the moon is in glowcolour. It will be trackable on geocaching.com with own icon and (hopefully) GF-prefix. I haven´t decided yet how many will be made but no more than 100 and no remint ever from me. Please tell me what you think of it. If anyone would like to have one or two plese send me an email through the profile. I will sell these mainly but have no price yet and since the dollar/swedish crown is going up and down I am thinking it will be rather high. Hope you like it. grodan Karin
  13. Glad it got there right in time also. Enjoy!! and Happy Valentine grodan Karin
  14. I am clearing some coins out of my collection. Please let me know if you think there is any I should NOT sell or trade and we can work something out. I like to sell them firstly so cashoffer goes before tradeoffers. They are all activated but adoptable. (please keep the logs since they have been discovered) You let me know your offer but no less than $10 each, shipping will be depending on weight $5 for 1-2 coins. If the weight is over 100g shipping is almost as expensive as the coin, $8. Sorry but dollar verses SEK is not the best right now. I collect animalshaped coins and haven´t bought many lately so please feel free to give me a tradeofffer and I might take it. Hope to work something out to get room for new coins. Thank you! grodan Karin

  19. Today I got a small box from the USA. Hmm, It wasn´t the valentinemission and I wasn´t waiting for any coins. Opened it up and found a Proto picnic coin (a tasty burgercoin), and a........Southern Hemisphere coin!!!!!! I was looking for that before christmas so I could give it to my husband. He got the Northern Hemisphere last year for christmas. This time I had no luck so imagine his luck when he found it in this box. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! You are so kind to send that to me(us). E-mail sent! grodan Karin

  23. I have some coins with error on them, like a black spot in white field, black spot in transparent field, mission colour in small field, missing white in eyes, those kind of errors. Some are hard to see there is anything wrong but as the designer of the coins I know it is there. They are trackable, not samples, not activated. Would anyone buy such a coin or trade for it? Curious to know and I haven´t decided yet how to do. grodan Karin
  24. Hi grodan, there is a thread which has previously discussed this topic, link included below. I've seen a few errors/samples advertised and sold on the eplace, so I guess there are a few people who collect them. Error Thread - MC Oooops, there is indeed and I have posted in there but that was over a year ago and that is obviously wayyyy to long ago for my memory. I will copy this post over to that other thread and this one can be closed. Thank you for finding it for me. grodan Karin
