  1. Hi, that's exactly my problem: I made pictures and have the tracking number on it. How can I edit the pictures, or delete them? Inserting cleaned pictures is not a problem. I do it like i posted the wrong ones.. regards There are free photo editors available so you can blur the code out. Just some examples, Pixlr and Picassa are web-based, Paint.net and GIMP you need to download.
  2. Any chance for an update on the status of this?

  5. I'm experiencing the same bug http://coord.info/GC4K87R
  6. I've been a fan of the app since it first launched. It can definitely come in handy when Waymarking and I can be used in conjunction with your activities. The more populous the area you are visiting, the better it works. I like to use it when I'm visiting a new area and I decide to do some spontaneous photography with my phone. It's developed by Niantic Labs, the same group that launched Ingress, which is owned by Google. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nianticproject.scout&hl=en If Groundspeak had actually cared about Waymarking all these years, I could totally have seen them launching this same app based on Waymarking.com data. It's too bad they have let everything languish. Groundspeak developed an iOS history app using Waymarking.com data at one point, but it was half-baked and never went anywhere, kinda like the website.

  8. I've never used CacheList, so I can't really help you out with your issues. CacheList is a third-party modification that you installed from the Chrome Web Store, not something that is provided by Groundspeak. You might be able to get better help if you contact the developer directly through the Feedback form on the listing page here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/support/amhhdbdhoghppijbjfdkiaconkmfbbpa?hl=en&gl=US#bug
  9. It's a Chrome extension. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cachelist/amhhdbdhoghppijbjfdkiaconkmfbbpa
  10. Any thoughts on reviving the Fire Tower category proposal? I was excited to create a writeup with a better explanation for Fire Lookouts as a separate category but got caught up in Waymarking so many locations in other categories this past year that I haven't taken the time to choose better words and arguments for this potential category. But your inquiry has gotten me thinking about typing something up again and posting it here in the forum. I'll see if I can tacke this in the next week. Looking forward to it. I might recommend the very start of the write up lists the reasons why the category wouldn't be totally redundant with the existing lookout category. This might help combat people who jump to conclusions, don't visit the forums, don't read the entire description, etc.
  11. Here ya go: http://project-gc.co...0&submit=Filter GC4JG3C GC2H8AG GC3KQQG GC164JA GC212TT GC17XVC GC1Y785 Hey, thanks so much. I just learned of project gc.com a while ago and had trouble figuring out how to navigate it so gave up. Computer dummy here. LOL I checked a couple of them and can't figure out where the two logs are. Maybe just missed them in my scrolling. Will keep checking but now I wonder if it will mess up my milestones. Hmmm will have to check into that one and see if there is a way to lock the milestone caches. I read somewhere that you could but not sure which program it was. Again, thanks so much for taking the time to look them up for me. Interestingly it seems you have sometimes found the same caches twice with months in-between logs. It will change your milestones. If you want to lock them you can do so here: http://www.geocachin...stics_edit.aspx

  13. I suppose the reference was to The Most Controversial Cache Ever Posted by "we can make jokes and take them too." It seems to have quite a history of being depublished, republished, rewritten after publishing, and then archived by the reviewer. Generic pokes at tinfoil hat wearers is relatively benign. However using a cache page to poke fun at someone you are not friendly with is mean spirited, and not something anyone should tolerate. Changing the description after archival and republishing only to do it again? I am now just starting to see what exactly the OP has to deal with here. Is anyone else not surprised that the DGS is connected to this mess?

  16. They slot in between motels and campgrounds. There was one near where i grew up. It finally closed recently I think. https://maps.google.com/?ll=44.441971,-69.831816&spn=0.000494,0.002409&t=h&z=19&layer=c&cbll=44.441408,-69.831507&panoid=Etx7HfB-joU3pb7nOHiniA&cbp=11,330.12,,0,9.68
  17. It appears that when the cache was first published, it actually followed the rules. It looks like after it went missing a few times, the CO changed the description and his own requirements for logging a find.
  18. Does anyone know who is behind this website: http://www.waymonkey.com/ and when it might be released?
  19. You LIED and fabricated a story in your opening post to a community of 4+ million people who you thought might be interested in the project. You really think that's a good first impression of your client's website?
  20. Since according to your profile you've never found or hid a geocache before, what's your relationship with the website you are trying to spam here?
  21. I think reviewers were only notified of this new interpretation in the past couple days or so.
  22. I have been informed by a reviewer that gsak focused events are now banned worldwide. Any mention of gsak will get the event denied. This is due to the fact that it is a commercial app. Curious what other's thoughts are on this?

I have to agree with this. It is just as well that there is a compatability problem. Unless the popup could be disabled I would not want to see it. Reading the forums with Perfect Browser on the iPhone works fine for me. The nag popup can easily be disabled by the forum owner if they want to. I find browsing forums with Tapatalk far superior then any of the mobile browser skins out there for forums. The fact that it consolidates my various communities into one consistent and easy to use app is awesome. Push notifications are great too and much preferred over email notifications.
