In the interface dialog box you must check the box "selected waypoints".

When selecting a few waypoints from a file and sending them to the unit all waypoints in the file are downloaded to the unit. I only want to send the selected few. I can do this with the serial cable. I get the problem when using the usb connection. I tried Trackmaker on 2 laptops and 1 tower with the same results. The Rino 530 acts the same way however it only has the usb connection. Any help would be greatly apprecited. Thanks

The datums are set the same. Question, if the datums were different the way points would still be mapped very close to the actual position? These way points are 20 to 30 miles off.

This still does not work any more suggestion?

Changing the formatt makes no difference. I am creating .txt file from Gps Track maker. These files work great with Microsofts Steets and Trips. Any othe suggestion please

When importing data from .txt format, the waypoints are off by 20 plus miles. No problem when importing from the gpsr. Any suggestions?

I have been using the 315 for 5 or 6 day a week for a few years now and it works flawlessly. My co workers all use Garmins 12, 76's and Rino's, however I would not trade any of them. I had to pay $50.00 for a data cable and wait a couple of months from crappie tire. It must of came by way of dog sled. If your not after a base map this unit works very well. Don't go in the woods with out a compass .... happens.

Just located this GPS add on. It was on disk 2 in a folder labeled GPS. One must just doulble click the set up icon. Thanks

I have used this 1 year ago. Some one had emailed me the file that I cannot find in the directory. Since then I have installed XP and did not save this file. My street and trips 2001 came with Microsofts Works on a new Dell, this may be the problem. I just need some one to email me the file.

My options are all gray out under the Tool/GPS/Configure GPS.

Wondering what program is needed to download alot of waypoints at once? I'am trying to put 400+ coordiants that are in word .xls or .txt files into a program so I can put them on my gps! GPS track maker, Easy GPS nor GPS UTILITY will alow me to make the transfer. Thanks in advance.
