Hello! I have a question concerning a travel bug. I live in Northeast NJ about 20 minutes from NYC. My geocaching buddy lives in my hometown in MI. She picked up a travel bug that has been trying to get to NYC since 2007.
We want to know if it would be okay if she mailed me the TB so I can finally let it reach the desired destination? Would that be considered cheating or frowned upon?
If it is indeed frowned upon, would it matter that I will be returning to my hometown in the Spring - could we pass it off then in person? Is that any better?
Thank you for any help - we want to get the little guy to NYC to see the sights but at the same time we want to respect the geocaching rules.
