Has anybody gotten an update on Ladycachers condition? Is her husband still not employed? She has been in my thoughts and an update would be nice. I am hoping that things are on the upswing for her. You all have been such a great group of supportive friends. How lucky she is to have you!

Thought you all would like to know I went ahead and got a garmin Legend. The download feature is defintly I huge plus. I found caches much more effeciently now. Thanks for your advice.

I just got a new geko 101 for 30.00! Seems like a deal I couldn't pass up. I figure that my 8 year old will love to have her own when we cache. I have even considered sending to my friend who would love caching but would never spend money on a GPS. I must say for me, I really need a gps that connects to the computer. I have a cobra 1000 that does not do this. That was fine the first 100 caches, but now I want more.

Soooo.... when you say "tweak" what exactly do I have to do? I keep getting a remark that I successfully transfered 0 files. Any help is appreciated.

I am starting to get incouraged! . But so far I have not been able to get the info into streetfinder. I know how to get it to the gps, if I get it into streetfinder. I REALLY appreciate all your help!

So what your saying is that I am better off if this unit should "suddenly" malfunction. Leaving me with no option, but to return it to the store and purchuse something else? I tried to get the Garmin at the time but they were sold out. Now I know better.

I am pretty sure I am unable to do that at t his point. .I have been using it for a number of weeks now. I am wondering if I have to do it with the rand mcnally software that came with it.

I have been tring to figure out how to download the checked waypoints from this site. I can't find one of the software listed that supports cobra. Does anyone know what I need to do to download these? I appreciate any help I can get! Thanks Sharonleetx
