  3. Contact Tony Savage at kiwigps@paradise.net.nz. I got a replacement screen for under $20 CAN delivered to my door in 6 days....took all of 10 minutes to install and required nothing but a pocket knife.The only draw back was the letters on the screen read GPS MAP60 (tho he has some 60C's...no others) He also had some empty cases (including screens) for various Garmin GPSrs for very resonable prices.
  4. I had a BAD scratch on my screen and found a guy in NZ that had replacement screens...had it within a week and took all of 10 minutes to replace.He charged me $20 NZ dollars and a few for postage...also had "dummies' for $40 I'll PM you his addy Mikey

I tried many things to remove some nasty scratches from my 60csx screen....nothing seemed to work.I found on some other forum a fellow in NZ that had replacement screens for the 60 series (the post was over a year old)I contacted him and 6 days latter it arrived in the mail...took all of 10 minutes to install and required nothing but a pocket knife.Cost?....just under $20 CAN. I have one of these http://www.j2ledflashlight.com/tm303x.html Very bright...long thro...small...well built...can be held in mouth....and has a clip to fasten it to the beak of a ballcap to use as a headlamp. If you want a hands on look at one RadioShack (or whatever they call themselves in Canada)has them, sold under their own name, for $69 I've seen them online for $29US but ordered from these guys being in Canada and didn't want the customs hassle. Shop around. I also ordered up 4 rechargeable batteries and charger for around $25 (forget where tho) Rechargeable CR123a batteries come in 2 voltages...3.2v and 3.6v...I chose the higher (gives an even brighter beam than the regular 3.2v)Being a single cell light the added voltage is not an issue (I believe the bulb can handle 4.2v) I get about 40 mins/battery before the brightness steps down. my 2cents (for what it's worth) Mikey
