Nice!!!! This makes me very very happy! Thanks to the power that be that made it so!

I got my FTF just last weekend. I've gotten one and now I am perfectly satisfied. I suppose I just don't understand the obsession and certainly not when it jeopardizes the entire community. I was proud to see that empty log and proud to sign my name, but honestly I don't care if I never get another FTF. To me, I am competing against myself and not other cachers. I do it for myself and as a stress reliever...not to grab numbers and FTF's. But to each their own.

I'll be honest I got a Magellan Explorist GC for Christmas and I still use my Iphone 4 as a primary and if I am having trouble I go to the Magellan. I just find the Iphone easier to use and at times more versatile and accurate. I know there are purists out there who think the Iphones are rubbish but I've logged a lot more finds with it than the Magellan. I am working with the Magellan, learning it and its nuances but many times I only have an hour or less to Cache on my lunch hour and I am going to go with what I know and that is my Iphone!

It sounds like he has emotional problems.....calling numerous times about travel bugs???? That is a little strange.

I forgo a true lunch on many days and just go caching to get away from the evils of 4 walls and a ceiling! I love it and it usually puts me in a much better mood when I head back to work.

I live in Mississippi (we are big hunters) and there are several cache areas that have been archived during hunting season. As much as I love the woods, I guess I will hit the parks and urban caches for a couple of months. Brother dear and I went on a cache run to Natchez and went thru the state park there and luckily had to veto only one cache along a mini power cache due to hunters.

Well Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is one of my all time favorite movies....I named my Belgian Sheepdog after it and i've been using it for the last year!

I am a cemetery enthusiast....whether it be photography, reading the stones, caching, learning about the history of an area or just enjoying the peace of the the area. Everyone jokes that no matter where I am I can sniff out a cemetery and will end up in the middle of it snapping photos like crazy. I enjoy communing with our past whether it be in books or literally written in stone. People erect markers for others to read and remember the people who came before us. YACIDKA in the title of a cache makes me very happy because it usually means I have another reason to visit old friends (monuments I have photographed over the years) or meeting new friends I never knew were tucked away. Just my 2 cents!

Several buddies of mine in the military (years ago) told me how they would hide stuff for the next unit....send the coordinates and they would find care packages with trade items and extra kool aide. I always thought it was neat and when I sent care packages I'd always send extra for them to use. A few years ago I heard that the satellites were for civilian use and the games had begun.....however I didn't have a gps unit and honestly didn't think about until my brother found one a few months ago. He took me and I downloaded the Iphone app on the spot and I am a total addict! I found my very first one on 10/16/10 and am on number 29.
