Don't we already have that here?
-
I might be part of the problem, but there are some caches around me that haven't been found in a long time, with a long string of DNFs, and the CO is no longer active, but a popular hider for my area I have searched and DNFd, but I do not want to post a NA log because I dont want the local cachers to look down on me. Who knows...maybe they won't, but i dont want to be labeled "that guy"

congrats on 10 years!!! Very Cool!
October 16th will be a full year for me, it's changed my life. I've fell in love with the outdoors, and I find myself day dreaming at work, wishing I was out on a trail somewhere or camping someplace hunting caches!!

Appears to be a New York State flag on the ferry and the Malta Drive In sign is a match for Malta NY.
Ok duh, it is on a ferry, i was searching all around on the map
-
ok after looking at the maps more, i might be wrong LOL
-
actually there is a road above the drive-in called Malta Ave. which heads towards the coast...second picture appears to be water, hard to make out though. Thats where I would search, take malta ave. and search along the coast.

Its near the Malta drive in movie theater in malta new york!!!!! GEOCACHERS FIND IT!! I live in South Carolina

I know it's OT but my idea of stealth is only before I start looking, I usually want to wait for people to pass or leave. Once I start looking though I dont stop. Once you start looking 10 feet off a hiking trail, kinda hard to play that off lol. I'm getting better at not caring what others think, but its still uncomfortable for me, knowing people are looking at me wonder WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE LOL

But there was a time when my daughter and I rounded a trail and saw two rattlers, staring at each other intently, trying to see who could raise themselves the highest and stay there the longest...
Would love to see a picture, to bad. =(

My first cache hide...a LPC. The hotwheel is the same color as the actual chevy on the cache page background. I wanted to place it on a minaiture parking lot with lamp post, but got inpatient and placed it. Not alot of thought went into it, just wanted something the locals could find that wasnt a film container. magnets gorillia glued to bottom to secure it to base of lamp post, drilled a hole through back windshield, glued container in place with gorilla glue.

I love the timber mountian challenge, great challenge

I have a question...if you are retired and live in a motor home, why aren't you out caching, you will never find them all if you are on these forums. Go out and cache! lol
j/k I would love to be able to retire, sell the house, by a motor home, and just travel and camp and find caches! you are lucky, enjoy your retirement =)

Any news one out there?
-
sure beats my car themed LPCs..but only have one right now lol
-
I'm working on a challenge that requires you to go down a 44 mile section of river, takes about 3 days to complete. you have to do it in a canoe or kayak
-
Any more quality out there?
-
thanks, definately not making it a cache placement requirement. Not sure if I want to make it a challenge, I spoke with one of the local cache placers of kayak caches, and this route is actually 44 miles and takes 3 days to complete in a kayak according to him.
-
Thanks elkein, I already feel stupid for not figuring that out until now, you don't have to rub it in...lol
-
I was leaning towards bad idea, but wasn't sure, which is why I asked =) Thanks. I am sure you won't be the only one who thinks so.
