Legally, perhaps. Violating the spirit of geocaching, guilty as hell IMO. Still waiting to see in the new vids anything about "yes, I have the cache owners permission." Legally one can show how magic tricks are done, or reveal what happens to Frodo, or pull the beard off Santa. And if viewers want to view it, spoil the magic and ruin the intended effect of the authors/creators, they may. But it's not a good thing, and I for one appreciate Groundspeak's efforts to discourage it. (two cents deposited) (porn/love comparison deleted)

Being fairly new at travel bugging didn't stop me from getting my son's entire school to track four of them -- John, Paul, George and Ringo. They were sent out into the wild last Saturday. I have observed some bugs with laminated tags stating their goal, and that *seemed* like a good idea, so I laminated a photo of the school kids holding all four Beatles, with the goal and request for photos on the back. I'm hoping that will reduce the chance of loss. Their goal is Liverpool, continental Europe and back again. The kids will be watching their progress on a big map. My prediction is four years, and two will go missing. (Tracking numbers TB3MMMK, TB3MMMG, TB3MMMX and TB3MMMJ.) My questions: 1) What's your predictions? Will they all make it, and how long will it take? (We're north of Seattle, in Ferndale, by the Canadian border.) 2) Do you think the laminated tags help? What should (and should not) be on them?

Goal: -Prevent this person from scamming others in the future. Why: -To protect fresh cacher's wallets and enthusiasm for caching. -His actions bring down the reputation of cachers and thus caching. So, what can be done to help us achieve stated goal above?

Love the idea! Yes, I would travel to do as much of it as I could fit into my days there. Maximal caching, both numbers and variety, with minimal route planning. Automatic Cache Machine.

Wow, glad I came across this thread. I just 'subscribed' three weeks ago. Nothing yet. Now to try to retrieve money from credit card and/or paypal...
