Does anyone have informations about the raster-limt? Is it still 100x 1024x1024 ??

Just downloaded via Webupdater Oregon 550T 2.60 (GPS 3.70) Oregon 300 3.30 (GPS 3.70)

THANK YOU !!! This bug happens if you connect the oregon to a windows-computer and look at the picture-folder afterwards the above bug might happen. (Than you g-o-cashers for giving me the information.)

the pictures were only on the oregon - no PS edit meanwhile i resetted the unit and it works until now. It is really strange that the coordinates were false because i am 100% sure that there was a good fix all the time.

ALL Photos taken with the Oregon 550T have the false (and same) coordinates for the picture N 48 00 000 E 15 00 000 Satfix was excellent while taking the photos Can anyone confirm this bug? - Thank you!

my unit works great with disabled custom maps Abnormal shutdown only with enabled custom maps

As i did not get any feedback until now - it seems to be that i am the only one where the unit crashes while using rastermaps (with a lot of panning and zooming). Thank you.

Using custom maps on the oregon the unit crashes (fades out) while zooming for a longer time. The gps works more stabile during demo mode, but still crashes by panning and zooming. Using no zoom function it works fine. (about 90 pics with 1024x1024)

PLEASE tell me, that there might be a mistake in understanding this technical info. There is a limit of 100 pictures (each with max. 1024x1024) https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?t=2646

Using an .ecw files would be great. Just trying to convert .ecw files (or .tiff georeferenced) into an .jpg + .kmz-file with globalmapper

Does anyone know an application which supports .ECW and .IMG (free garmin maps) on the iphone?

The UK maps are working fine now on a oregon. 1) What about official maps of other countries? 2) what about self made raster maps. (NOT Moagu, Mapwel) Are there guys who already implemented other maps into the oregon? Did you hear any news?

Garmin got a bug-report on the first day of the new beta. No feedback until now.

Now, all Garmin outdoor-systems will have the same bad accurancy. (offset up to 100m) I hope, that my 60csx will never break.

Display of 300 and 500/550 are identical.

The same situation compared to the colorado. Now do we have happy colorado-users? The oregon is a funny toy. But for trips i am still using the gpsmap60csx

Because Garmin needs 2 years of programming to create a firmware - and afterwards you can decide if this gps is fine or you can return it. Remember the first FW-Versions.....
