OK, here's an update. I was not happy with the color of the deer antlers, they were to close to the bear color. Ihave had 5 additional samples created to get the coloring right. My manufacturer was also away on a business trip for several days. This is the reason for the delay. They are all minted but the coloring on the front was waiting for final approval. They should be finished by the end of the week and shipped to be within 7-10 days. Once I get them they will be shipped right away as I have all my shipping packages labeled and ready to go. Hello, I'm trying to find the best software to use to create an Icon for my Bear coin. How have people been making their icons? Thanks for any help!!

Here are the samples of the Cachehunters42 Bear Coin. I will be going with the one on the right which has an epoxy coating. Colors are being slightly adjusted for production. I have sold out 300 coins and since i had to buy 500 tracking numbers I am debating on making another 100 Silver and 100 Gold. I have at least 20-30 coins that people have asked for but I wasn't planning on making more. My other choice is to do another coin later this year. If you have any thought on my dilema let me know. I don't want another Georgia Peach attack for minting more than originally posted. If I do 100 gold I'll throw 20-30 in the mix of orders as a surprise.

Oh, that ______store is making a killing on the shipping. There are several coin manufacturers out there, I don't know why people keep using them.

I ship all international orders GLobal Priority which costs $5.25 old rate not sure of the new rate yet. That's why I add the $4.00 per shipment for international orders.

The first coin in the series will go on sale 1/21/06 at 8:00pm EST. Coins are being sold at CH Quality Coins

Looks like the site does a flat rate of $1.28/coin no matter how many ordered, no discount for multiples, and no upper limit. In my opinion, if there is going to be a flat rate per coin, just include it in the coin price and say "includes shipping". $1.28 per coin seems like overkill, and will probably discourage people from buying more than one. If there is a fixed shipping price, I usually only buy one. If there is a discount on shipping for multiple coins, I am more likely to purchase a few. --Marky The shipping is percentage based. Considering it costs $.64 - $.77 to ship 1 coin that weights a little less than 2oz. the shipping is correct. As the weight goes up the shipping options are also decreased. The percentage charged also decreases as the number of coins increase. Shipping is shipping, there are alot of other places out there that charge alot more for shipping. The folks that have order 8+ sets will most likely get a partial shipping refund depending on actual shipping costs. As far as when you can expect these coins: Samples are being minted this week, e-mail has been sent for tracking numbers and production will start on 1/23/06. Coins should be here in 2-3 weeks. Shipped from will begin in another 1-4 days Once I have the sample photo, I will post it here. I'm only having on type sampled to save time.

For those of you who are interested there will be a total of 4 Satellite coins manufactured this year, one coin per quarter. There will only be 250 minted in each edition. Each will be unique and will demonstrate the quality of coins we can produce. Keep an eye out for them.
