  1. i think as long as the person describing the fundamentals of geocaching also describes the contents of a cache, there is no problem in referring to it as treasure. my kids definitely think it is!
  2. Clearly speed of delivery is not the draw to this. Let me understand this (clarify for me if I'm wrong) -- I can send a postcard to someone (if there is a geo-postbox in their area) and they will receive it in about a year and a half? Better keep those messages non-time sensitive. Seriously though, what am I missing here? A year and a half? My TB is all the way to California in less then a month. I was referring to the one in the picture bicker bicker bicker...i think its a great idea. another 'perspective' on the game. Something else to play with!
  3. i pack all the basic essentials listed above...but i think i have crossed the geo-geek line. I pack an HP dv1010ca notebook and a Sony ericcson Edge PC card so i can logon and view caches anywhere there is cell service. Call it Extreme Paperless Caching.
  4. lol...you two are starting to sound like canadians!!!
  5. please do tell...what is this unofficial one year rule???
  6. good thread! i was wondering about hthis the other day as i am new to the sport of geocaching. the multicache idea is a good one for sure. it would be a good excuse to get my butt back into the water as well...its been awhile!
