I am from the Louisville Kentucky area and am looking for a mini run of caches like a power trail near or in the Indiana for a challenge cache. Need to get 100 caches in one day. Any ideas?

the other day i found a cache that had a used I-tunes gift card in it.

my first hide was a simple bison tube in a tree. Wasnt sure if i did it right so wanted to go simple. Still active.

I am part of a local Geocache group in southern indiana and northern kentucky. We meet monthly and i had an idea for a game. Here is what it is; I will make 5 locall caches with a deck of poker cards in there and some random stuff. The idea is to take one card out of the cache and find the next. At the end of the 5 caches whoever has the best hand wins a special prize. Planning on leaving a note saying what the cards are for so some person hopefully will leave them alone. Please feel free to edit or leave your opinions.

Even though I am new roughly 170 caches I believe this one is wierd. I was caching and in a local one someone left a wedding band.

I found 2 interesting ones to share: 1: was a battery. it was a metal tube with battery wrapping on it. 2: This was my favorite... We were caching in the forest and we turned over a stump and there was a bat! I grabbed a stick and poked it a few times before i touched it. Scared the crap out of me

I must agree with the main post. It is aggrevating when you get to a cache, yours or another persons, and it is filled with garbage. I live next to a golf course so guess whats in a lot of the caches???? Golf Balls! It is aggrevating. Now I also disagree with the talk that the find is the coolest. I am 28 years old and i feel like a kid out there playing in the woods. Every cache is a secret you never know whats in there. U walk through woods, brambles. etc and find a container full of nasty crap. Then for cool stuff to put in a cache..... anything you would like to find in a container. Do you want to find a stupid golf ball?
