I don't use these forums much, mostly just lurk and learn ...Anyways, here is my dilemma.
Recently I was caching in Florida Keys, and I picked up a neat geocoin, brought it scuba diving w/me to shoot a cool photo with it (it belonged to a 9 yo) Well, you know what's coming dontcha? Yes....I lost it somewhere underwater when it came out of my BC pocket. I regretfully let the owner know and offered to replace it if he knew where I could buy another, also offered to send a neat coin I have not yet activated, but the owner was really nice, and said not to worry about either, just to post pictures of my dive on his page regardless....Very classy (and forgiving) cacher indeed. Well, I truly would still like to be able to find such a coin if at all possible, as I've had coins disappear on me, and it's heartbreaking. Even moreso this one belonging to a 9 year old....So, here is the description. It's a Halloween geocoin, shaped like a grim reaper with red eyes on it, is shiny gold, I didn't take a photo but you can see photos of it on cache page GC1EQ8Z. "Tell me what bugs you" cache, in Key West, Fl.
Hoping somebody can ID it and where I can possibly buy one to replace it for the owner. Already tried Ebay to no avail.....
