  1. Congrats intolerable...maybe you'll be a bit more tolerable now? I'd love a pot of gold coin myself. Still waiting for one to show up around me.
  2. Yeah, I was kind of wondering the same thing too. My oldest daughter's birthday is the 18th of March...Oh so close...Or as Maxwell Smart would say "Missed it by...that much".
  3. You gotta do what you gotta do! Consider luck wished!
  4. Congratulations chancerider! Welcome to the club!
  5. Congrats to all the recent finders. It's very cool that they are heading out of country too! And best of luck Hula Bum...how about the public TB number so we can all watch it's travels??
  6. That's too cool Karma! Congratulations! I don't blame DM for heading to Az though. I've talked to people that have dived the lakes here and they are all pretty murky and not worth diving. And to echo everyone else's request, what's on the other side??
  7. Who is the most recent recipient? Is the B.U.G. done? Like a bee, he delivered his payload and is done? Sad if true...come back B.U.G...we miss you!
  8. Congrats intolerable, and best of luck to you earthrooster...seems the GSA likes to keep a low profile...must keep quite to attract him...
  9. Congrats cainrcc! Glad you finally got one! And everyone else that has received one so far! Man, these mystery coins are so cool! Bringing everyone together and having a good time! Long live the mystery coin!
  10. Congrats to all the recent finders. As for Cav Scout..as I'm sure you've already found out, selling the coin, unless backed by TGF her/himself is bad. Period. I have a feeling if you were to sell yours, you would be hounded for a long time. But I'm guessing that you decided not to, thus AtlantaGal's message of "I'm glad you decided to keep your Jordana". I hope this is the case. I don't see TGF approving of any sale, but it MAY be possible. Ask though, and I would also try to get a public post here from him/her that they are approving the sale. Just my $0.02.
  11. Ah, but you skipped over the good part... "Its primary economic base is gold mining and, to a lesser extent, legal prostitution." Nice But what about the caching opportunities! http://www.geocaching.com/seek/gmnearest.a...;zm=13&mt=m I don't know, do the prostitutes cache? And no jokes about "First to Finds"
  12. Well, I was contemplating stalking Nero and seeing if he might let his guard down long enough for me to "retrieve" his CCC coin, then today I saw a log in a cache right by my office. Looks like the CCC crew have been back to Az! And on a record tieing date too - 92°f! It's warm out! But I climbed into the overgrown trees and dug out that cache (as I've done it, I knew where the end point was). How cool! I've got #107 in my hands! Looks like you're safe now Nero...well, at least from me... Thank you CCC for your generosity. I will treasure this coin will my other mystery coins! Never to be sold.
  13. Oh yeah! The made it to Arizona after all! I am now the proud owner of a GSA coin! Pictures will come later! Thanks GSA for your generosity, I hope you never get caught! Here's my log... Well, I had been to part one, but not to the ammo can. Actually, I had walked around last time kind of looking for it but didn't spot it. This time I grabbed the coordinates and headed for the ammo can. Heh..I walked around it last time, I looked there, but not real well. To make matters worse, as I'm driving to the cache in the first place, there is a line of cars in front of me...and they keep turning the same way! They are all headed to get MY coin! I need to turn right at the next light..and they turn right..ok, left at the next light..3 of them turn left..BAH! Ok, cool, two just turned off into the Army Reserve base, that leaves one. Need to turn left just after the base...NO! So does he! Ok, don't stop, don't stop, don't stop. Yes! He keeps going! So I make the short walk to the first container. Anyway, I figured, man, the GSA has been here, but how long ago? Anyone been by since? Open the container. Hmm..no GSA log...well duh! I guess a secret agent can't really spend too much time in one spot. Advertising his whereabouts in the forums is one thing, but to actually write it in paper where his hand writing can be analyzed? No, guess not. So I grab the coords for the can and head over. I hear rustling in the bushes...what is it? Someone before me? The GSA still around? Nope, quail! Baha, ok. Grab the can, open and all pretty inside is the gsa with coins from many different countries. Very cool! I love foreign coins, but I resisted and only took the gsa and the hobo dude traveling coin to move along. In return I dropped a Geocoins Through The Ages Antique Copper unactivated in the cache. Thanks GSA and of course Tsegi Mike and Desert Viking for placing this great cache!
  14. Picture as promised! Here's some of our fall decorations enjoying the coin!
  15. The happiness will continue! Alright! I still have a chance! Thank you thank you thank you. I'd REALLY like to add one of these. And of course, congratulations to all the recent receivers of this great coin!
  16. Yeah! I got one! Kind of like the Nero experience, but I wasn't waiting for kids, I was waiting for 30 miles of morning rush hour traffic! Sorry, no pictures yet, I'll try to get some and upload today! Log for GCKTAD So I get up this morning and do the typical...where was the GSA, the GGP, the Leprechaun and CCC yesterday/last night. And I see that the GGP has logged this cache...on Halloween! SWEET! It's by the office...but the office is almost an hour away! NO!!!! Traffic..traffic..traffic... Trying not to get run over by people not seeing motorcycles. Man, the traffic was horrible today! Well, maybe it was normal, but it felt horrible! Felt like we were standing still, but we can't be because the miles keep ticking down on the GPSr. I'm starting 30 miles away, across down town, in morning commute traffic. It won't still be there will it? Nah, it can't be, but I still believe! I have to believe! That coin must be there! I just have to have one! I arrive on location, and as typical, it's busy. Construction workers filling up their tanks and getting drinks for the day. At least I've done this one before, I don't have to search for it. Look around, wait, watch, GRAB! I open the container with trembling hands...YES! Score! The GGP coin is STILL there! Sweet! I am now the proud owner on number 124-07! Thank you every so much GGP! I really appreciate your travels and the smile you put on my face! This is a great coin! Thank you thank you thank you! Haughton Haughton's Hunters
  17. Absolutely, as others have stated CCC, thanks for the fun! I'm sure it's not over yet, but so far it's been fun watching the forums (and shamelessly begging for a coin of my own). I hope this project of yours has been as much fun for you as it has for everyone watching this forum as well as those lucky enough to receive or find one of your coins.
  18. Congrats all! It's Halloween, so it's still possible to get one of these in time for the big night. Only one here in AZ so far, I'd be proud to be owner #2 in Az. That's a great looking coin!
  19. Congratulations to all the latest finders. It's Halloween, I'll be watching and waiting...perhaps it's the magical day? How many places to you think the Great Geo-Pumpkin can visit tonight? I bet there will be a lot! But being the Great Geo-Pumpkin, distance will be problem! I believe, I believe, I believe! Congrats Nero and everyone else that has found one of these great coins!
  20. Congratulations JoeFrog...I'd love to see one of those up close and personal..and in MY collection. Is Phoenix too hot for a Leprechaun? Even now when it's cooled down? You know it's only supposed to be in the 80s today! But it's a "dry" 80...
  21. Congratulations TokyoBlossom..and all other recent spotters of the secret agent.
  22. Maybe he's going as a spy..no one would ever guess!!
