  1. Section 16-17-605. (A) It is unlawful for a person to engage in any gaming, sporting, or other recreational activity in a cemetery, burial grounds, or archeological site without the express written consent of the owner or the state agency which oversees these properties or sites. ( A person who violates the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, must be fined not more than one hundred dollars or imprisoned for not more than thirty days. © Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (, the judge, in his discretion, may order a person convicted of a violation of this section to perform up to one hundred hours of community service. (D) The provisions of this section do not preclude a person from being charged with a violation of Section 16-17-600 in addition to a violation of this section." SECTION 2. The repeal or amendment by this act of any law, whether temporary or permanent or civil or criminal, does not affect pending actions, rights, duties, or liabilities founded thereon, or alter, discharge, release or extinguish any penalty, forfeiture, or liability incurred under the repealed or amended law, unless the repealed or amended provision shall so expressly provide. After the effective date of this act, all laws repealed or amended by this act must be taken and treated as remaining in full force and effect for the purpose of sustaining any pending or vested right, civil action, special proceeding, criminal prosecution, or appeal existing as of the effective date of this act, and for the enforcement of rights, duties, penalties, forfeitures, and liabilities as they stood under the repealed or amended laws. SECTION 3. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor./ Renumber sections to conform.
  2. i dont know if city navagator is capatible or not with a gpsmap60cs i know that city select is though
  3. many caches have been removed by the bomb squad, i do not belive the cacher was punished. except for his "new friends" maybe not being his best friends
  4. just did some caching in the park yesterday. caching is different with ice and snow........
  5. you need to download the .gpx files using a 3rd party program (i use easygps) and then simply when using your gps select find>geocaches. and then there is a list of way points and that is the feature

  7. id say its fine as long as it dosent interfere with the use of the hydrant. whould you feel bad if you killed some guy because his house burned down.
  8. i think the coords for the postal codes are from a certain point where as the accual way the the postal service sets them up is completly different. you might accualy be closer to another post office and not be in their postal code.
  9. my same thought. i will drop him there this afternoon and put a note on him not to be moved.
  10. i always carry around my USGS id when i go geocacing in a city, so that if a cop gives me any trouble i just show him my FEDERAL id.
  11. hi--thank you in advance. the bug is "headed for the granite state" (TBHZPY). as the name implies the bug is trying to go to New Hampshire. i live only a few blocks away from Squellys "peter pan" (GC27FF), so that would be my ideal choice. unfortunately though that is on 86th and York. Needless to say we don’t get that many tourist up by us. i work down in the 70s and so i may be able to drop it in some cache in the park. let me know if there are any caches that you would like me to drop it in. when will you be in the city?   13. im a hard core nyc cacher? i am with in the five boroughs. mayor mike is my mayor and other stuff like that. does anyone know how many true NYC Cachers there are? mike

  18. briansnats is right about the street vendors !! but i wasnt even aware that TBs where sold though a 3rd party vendor(shows what i know )the one place i can think of is down town just above union square (14th street) probably in the upper teens or low 20s called "Paragon Sports" they sell maps GPSrs compasses its realy just a general camping store. but besides that i cant realy think of anthing. sorry Mike

  20. Yup! youve got the right idea just look for a place hiding place that looks unnatural, a normal sain individual would never look, or a place you would hide something if you didn’t want people to find it who where not looking for it. yeah that’s pretty much the sport.

  22. I think this also brings up the issue of should a cache owner log his own cache for maintains. I believe that this is about as low as you can go. what do others think?
