Hi thanks for the speedy reply, I may not have explained myself fully I tend to use this in conjunction with Wolfs cachemate data base macro In GSAK , File, Export, Memory Map bottom right hand corner there is a box called "link" (it usually says default in it) now I need to find out the code that tells the memory map icon to look for the cache page in the cachemate database. I do hope I am making sense it was a long time ago I last set it up lol

Hi all, After a spot of bother with my lappy I have had to wipe & reload I have now come to set up my GSAK macros etc but I am unable to remember what code you need to put in the"link" box when you export a cachemate csv file to use in memory map for my pda. I usually keep thing s like this written down & I have all the other codes I need except for this one & I am unable to find it on a search of the forum (but I am sure its here somwhere) If someone would be kind enough to point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance Chris

You could try having a look at EA GeoMobbers its an East Anglian forum who regularyl meet up and cache together. It has members of all ages so it may be worth a look.

I've used THIS to create PQs before at least you can see the area your PQ will cover, so long as it hasn't hit the 1000 cache limit

Dunno if this helps but my Ipaq 5720 uses port 7 I am running MM5 though, but I would have thought the ports would be the same ? There is a sirf tutorial HERE that might be worth a look -
Ive been using it for a while now as an alternative to Teasels Geocache UKs rating (whihc I liked), but one thing I dont like is that you dont have to visit caches to give them a rating. As every cache page you visit allows you to vote on it. I guess it just allows on honesty. Still it is early days.

Another vote for Memory map & Cachemate here. I used to use GPX Sonar & the html export but as already mentioned I found cachemate a lot quicker. -

molfrew-mosstoad replied to GAZ's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
Thanks for the explanation. I had the same trouble when I updated GE to the latest version. In the end I downgraded back to the older version and the kml file I was using works again. Im another one of the 200 regular users -
There is now a 2nd Suffolk Stroll over a 4 mile walk I believe it is to be another 10 however 3 are yet to be published, wish id known before doing the other 7 on Saturday lol

Typical, All the ones I was going to recommend are either unaccessable with a push chair, premium member or no longer there. I dont know what that says about Norwich's caches. Hopefully someone else has done some of the others and can be of more help than I was
