Hey, Im in search of Experienced Cachers in Indianapolis, IN, that would like to help me have something like a Geocaching 101 class at one of the Indianapolis Public Libarys possiably on the west side. I dont think there ever has been such a class given and I thought that it might be time. I have looked into getting a meeting room and it should be free. I know alot about caching but would like some help so they can add there suggestions also. What I want is a easy class that will teach like what is Geocaching is, how it works, Where is it played, and the tools to play it with. I would love to have a like a demo cache setup with like a travel bug or geo coin just so the newbies get a feel for what to look for. This is just a idea so if anyone has any info they would like to add please feel free. I love playing and I would love to tell more about it..............Sir_Issac2

Hey Everyone, This year is the 50th Anniversary of the Indianapolis 500 Festival. If you are not aware the Festival is run from April until the day of the 500. The festival includes: The Education Program,Kids Day, The Mini Marathon, and the 500 Parade. I will be voulnteering agian this year with the education program, for more info on volunteering for the 500 Festival sign up at: www.500festival.com Well, as of right now Im not for sure of dates but I would love to have other Geocachers join me to volunteer while doing the Education Program. What I would like is maybe some ideas on how we could put them together, maybe volunteer in the morning then cache for a little in the afternoon. I need ideas. This will be a first and I think I have something here as long as I can get some good ideas. Please email me with any questions!!!! Hey, Im intrested in knowing if there are any Geocaching meetings in Indianapolis or here in Marion County? Its seems all the meetings are all over the state and I havent seem to find one that is in Indianapolis. Now there may be and Im just blind!!!! HI, Im going to be making a trip to Panama City, Florida from Indianapolis, IN and would love to hit some caches along the way. I want to find easy caches that are close to I-65 south, I want to find at least one cache in Kentucky, Tennessee. and Alabama and Florida. I have a GeoCoin that is going to Florida. Hello Everyone!!! Here is my question, how many out there cache with out a GPS? All I use is what is listed as hints from fellow chachers and look at pictures and then I mainly use Google Earth with the Geocachers.com patch file that shows where the caches are. In the last two weeks I have found 4 caches without a GPS. Or is there anyone out there that does this, or even better is there a name for Geocaching without a GPS???? Thanks, Sir_Issac2

Hey Everyone, Im pondering on buying a GPS and due to who I have talked to and price range Im looking at the Magellan Explorist 100. I dont want anything fancy, (well really I do) I just want a regular GPS that I can go out and find caches with. I would like somefeed back on this....Thanks Sir_Issac2
